Someone post some O'halloran videos, I need a hate refresher course.

1. Turnovers - There have been a lot of turnovers lately between the goal line and the hash marks, miscommunication beetwen the goaltender and the defense is causing the defense to fumble the puck and make bad passes. 2. Defensive zone coverage - A lot of opposition players are getting left open on the far side of the net, left open for an easy pass that'll smoke the goaltender every time. The guys out on the point aren't getting pressured enough by the forwards, they are getting way too many shots through to the goaltender which are then getting tipped by the guys in front, the goaltender can't do much to stop those. Tie up the guys in front, clear the rebounds, and get our takeaway master out in that pointman's face. 3. Backchecking - Wings are giving up way to many 3 on 2's and 2 on 1's, getting caught on bad line changes or bad passes. They've got to get back in the play faster and make better line changes. 4. Clearing the puck - Too many failed clearing attempts by the Wings while trying to shoot it around the boards ending up being intercepted by the defensemen creating turnovers. 5. Goaltending - While a lot of the goals can be attributed to a lack of defense or bad breaks, both goalies have been letting in a few soft goals per game. Both goalies need to be a little quicker side to side and work on rebound control. Quick notes: More pressure in the offensive zone to keep the play down in their end. More intensity and energy, the other teams are getting hungry and desperate just to get in the playoffs, the wings are going to have to step it up to match it, they look like they're in slow-mo right now. Beat the other guy to the puck, win the small battles. Get back in the groove of dominating the games and shutting down the other team. Larry Murphy watch out, I'm coming for your job.

Hockey is by the most physically and mentally demanding sport there is, go ahead try and top it.

Its one thing to play back to back games in a tournament, where everyone will be as tired as you are, but flying from LA to Trashville... Thats at least a 3hour flight plus whatever time it takes to get undressed, loaded up and off to the airport. Its a bunch of crap and shouldn't be happening.

I liked what I saw from downey the last couple games, he went out skated hard, did some banging around, oh yeah that nice fight too. He was very involved and I heard his name quite a bit. We've got enough talent guys to skate circles around all the other teams, our hard hitter lately is who? Datsyuk? I welcome more Downey or D-Mac icetime. We've got the winning formula right now, but the playoffs are always a little bit rougher than the season.

I wouldn't pay anything for a crappy little youtube quality stream. Now if it was in 720p at 30fps using X264 and a decent bitrate I'd pay for it. However the bandwith required would be logistically impossible.

After winning a bunch of cups, how motivated can you be to win every dink game against crappy trashville and columbus? Especially if they're back to back. They're not really in any danger of missing the playoffs. Now is when they mess around to see what works and what doesn't so they can be ready for the playoffs.

I will never watch another red wings game ever again if pronger somehow makes it on our roster.

We don't need a designated enforcer, just tell all the players to stand up for each other and pop the guy who did it a few shots. Anyone on the ice can do it, its not that hard. The wings are so used to skating circles around the other guys they need a kick in the balls to remind them this is hockey and not basketball. Everyone should be willing to fight, no exceptions.

They only person they probably keep track of is pavel datsyuk.

I think our die hard support is a key to our teams success that a lot of teams lack. Our ridiculously high standards command greatness, and that is what we've gotten year in and year out.

I file Crosby under the no-talent-assclown section. The wings totally destroyed him and the penguins in the playoffs. And the way the NHL hypes him up every chance they get while ignoring all the other good players is totally disgusting.

And of course the wings have a back to back game when they play buttman's penguins.

If they do anything to fighting, I will stop watching hockey forever, I am already boycotting the NHL for the post-lockout league pussification bulls***. Stop changing the rules, they were fine the way there were back in like 1995 10. Most importantly, stop trying to push hockey into areas that never get snow. 11.
