bRtd, can't you let anyone dream? I mean I'm sure there is a way that this can happen. We may not realistically be able to sign Smith or Naslund, but its possible. If some guys don't come back or some guys don't get raises, then it could be done. Why don't you let any of these topic creators have any fun?

ok, maybe Hudler is 3rd in terms of "raw offensive talent" whatever that is, but for some reason our coaching staff has decided that he isn't as high as you say and he plays limitied minutes. I am not necessarily disagreeing with you, I think he is a great player. But if he is 3rd in "raw offensive talent" why isn't he replacing Holmstrom on the 1st line or Samuelsson on the 2nd line?

It would be a stretch of the imagination to think any member of the Ottawa Senators had a good season, specifically Wade Redden. You can smell the regret of the Senators management choosing to re-sign him over Zdeno Chara.

Anyone else interested in the Jackets' offseason?
SnipeShow replied to hckypete96's topic in General
i get excited every offseason to watch what every team does. its what makes me tick. columbus should have a fairly adventerous summer ahead of them -
As soon as we won the cup I was hoping Chelios would hang them up, Lilja would leave and Stuart would go for big money elsewhere because I agree I want to see these kids play too. Kenny would probably have to get a legit #4 guy at the deadline still, but for the majority of the season just let them play.

my english is short now something like that, is that what you wanted?

bRtd, you didn't even go against his opinion you just shot the thread down... gutless move

if scuderi and letang had him beat for a roster spot, good luck cracking this teams defenseive line up

i wouldn't mind it, but Echolalia has a valid ass point

is cory cross still on the market...?

let cheli, lilja and stuart walk. play the young guys all year and beef up the blueline at the deadline
-
Dom wouldn't play anywhere he doesn't have a legit shot at winning the cup
-
wow i will be the first to tell you how well marian did this playoff run. i was against trading for him at the deadline but he played amazing all playoffs long. i guess it doesnt hurt to have one of the best players as your centreman but still he played admirably.

no i think he meant when he used to play for dallas i could be wrong though
-
im so lost right now, i need therapy after tonight
-
just wondering if anyone has the picture of Luc celebrating with a fist pump after his point shot in the world juniors? i think they were playing america

pittsburgh played their asses off and wings had a terrible game. final score 3-2. dont worry about this game guys, imagine we had more good luck tonight? we mightve won this game even though we didnt play well. win it in 5 on home ice?

just want to say i was one of the people defending holland at the deadline. i argued against getting hossa because he has historically been a playoff underachiever. i will say i was wrong because i said he wouldnt do much this year if he was on detroit (will never know how he would have done on the wings) but he has played admirably for the penguins. and i also will say i was wrong when people argued with me about datsyuks production this postseason.. i said he would not shine but play overall an average game (i think i said something like 15-20 points total in the playoffs). i did however say all we really will get is a solid addition, not a monsterous gamble on someone like hossa who would have cost an arm and a leg. i was thinking realistically for something like stuart and prospal, or stuart and sundin if i was lucky. we stuck with our forwards and got stuart. i guess somewhat luckily Helm and McCarty have proved worthy this postseason as depth forwards. anyways, just wanted to say that Holland has done a great job and people who slandered him saying they cant believe he still has a job here blah blah, were being terribly unfair to the guy and to argue against this whole thing by saying well we didnt know franzen was going to be a monster this postseason... thats not even valid because holland drafted him and obviously put stock into his play. peace and love!
