I actually was looking at books today at Borders. I took a look at "Red Wings Essential: Everything You Need to Know to Be a Real Fan". It's things we all know but I found it interesting since they have a lot of the players perspective on the whole thing and direct quotes form interviews. They separated into chapters they are short and simple. Again, any true fan knows 90% of what's already in there but I found it nice. It only goes to 2006 so you'll be reading it and finding a few things out of date. But still, I suggest you to check that out.

Well, it wasn't the best game for the Wings at all. Considering Val missed 26 games he wasn't bad at all and showed no signs of being out for so long. It also wasn't the best game at all for him but I felt confident in his playing tonight.

Hey everyone, hope your summers are going well. I just was wondering if anyone had any good advice for washing a jersey that has been signed. I'll never put it though a machine; I'll do it by hand but I need tips. I've had this jersey for quite sometime and there signatures all over but I haven't washed it in years. There's pizza stains, beer stains, probably sweat from the 100 degree day of the parade, dirt, etc. I mean, it looks almost disrespectful to be wearing this when the white is a inconstant beige and brown. I don't want anything to happen to my jersey or autographs, what detergent should I use? Cold Water, right? Hanging it to dry works best, right?

I know everyone is telling me to retired it and as much as I would like to, I can't. And I do have it signed by Yzerman as well as ten others! It's been through everything. It's a part of me. Maybe I should get a new one and wear that one during playoffs and not every game. I really wouldn't mind getting a Franzen Jersey... Are the "Reebok Edges" nice? Authentic or replica? More decisions.

Hey I haven't been on in a while but have they posted the Giveaways for the upcoming season? I love adding useless Wings related junk to my collection but when I checked on the website, the only thing I could find was the "Legends Autograph signings".

First off, I HIGHLY doubt that he took it out of his mouth because he was chewing on it. They all do it, Zetterberg does it, I've seen Homer do it as well. So it wouldn't make sense. I'm sure it was a more of a "watch what you are doing" and the taking the mouthgaurd out as a warning. I would have been pretty ticked if he threw a punch at a moment like that. THAT would have been unnecessary for sure. Drawing a penalty would have been pointless cause the act was harmless... and kind of funny. The Blackhawks fans can laugh about how stupid it was and we can laugh about how BA it looked (cause BA it was). Another point I need to make, there's worst things then that which players have taken part in. Why would THAT call for a penalty? The whole argument of hockey I hear it has gone soft -- putting someone in the box for pulling a mouthguard out is outrageous. Also, fighting is a part of hockey (yes it's true), but only not every moment needs a fight, for then it's just fighting... on skates.

Well, no one really cares but after the good ol' UPN 50 got rid of games we decided it was finally time to consider cable. Which we got. *FSN is a blessing by the way*. I do not get Verses and NONE of my hockey fan friends friends do. Even those who pay for more channels. And NO ONE I know gets TSN. We are in Royal Oak so we aren't in the middle of nowhere. So there are many of games I do not get to see unless I go the the gym, to a bar, or stream it. Even worst, at Wayne and in my apartment, we don't get CBS. Strange cause you's think being in actual city or Detroit, you would... but you don't. Look, I'll do anything so I don't miss a game. But I do wish it would be hack of a lot easier. The radio doesn't always work and live stream are terrible no matter how good your internet it.

Oh god, isn't that what players do before they call it quits?!?! They go back to their roots and play just a little bit and then retire. No, this can't be happening. Cause then there's only one... Kozlov, and then he's going to retire. And then I'm going to freak out cause he was the youngest one and then I'm going to realize that I'm old. I mean Shanahan's going soon I'm sure. And then the remainders of my childhood... Lidstrom, Holmstrom, Drapes, Malts, and Ozzie. I can't take it. I think I'm going to be sick. Anywho, I wish him the best of luck. One of my all time favorites. I know a lot of Wings fans didn't like him but stats can't lie that much. He did a lot. Hell of a player. Plus, my uncle worked with him and said he was a very pleasant person.

I was at Great Lakes Crossing Mall in Auburn Hills last week and saw a sign outside of a store, Gateway Newstand, that said they carried Limited Edition Chris Chelios Jones Soda. Being a chump, I wanted to add this to my useless collection of Red Wings memorabilia. However when I walked in and asked/looked around, there were none. The lady who worked there said she was fairly new and had no clue exactly what it was about. So I called the place today to find someone who might know and I was informed that they (the people working at the store) are getting really frustrated because people keep asking about them but they never receive any from the company. Plus, it's luck of the draw if they get any or not. It like a lottery. So my question here, has anyone stumbled across from any of them? I would love to have one. I looked online but had no luck. I did find what the labels look like.

Actually, look around! There's none I swear in the actually city of Detroit but my aunt saw a few while in Arizona. If anyone needs help finding them in the metro Detroit Area, let me know. I might be able to help... after I get my hands on them... ;-)

Haha, I never saw Larionov do that... EVER. It was a total shock. I can't find a good video of it right now but my favorite part is when Shanny and Foote stop throwing punches and start laughing at the goalies going at it. Five seconds late the starting again.

I called the Joe today and I was informed that the open practice will NOT be open to the general public but just those in kids in the "kids club". *lame* On another note, does anyone have a child I can barrow who is in the club?
