Tonite Osgood had the cup at Sean O'callghans in Plymouth. I got to touch the cup and get pics of it. I very narrowly missed drinking out of it when Ozzy was goin around the bar. My brother got to drink out of it though. I watched it get carried out and strapped into the back of a blue jeep with Ontario plates and off it went.

Mine showed up today along with the Stanley Cup Final program. Pretty cool stuff, well worth $10.

Just wanted to let everyone know that I havent bailed on the HD version....at least not yet. I have spent sooooooooooo much time on this the past few days and have gotten basically nowhere. I got the postgame stuff converted into divx and it plays and works. The game however has an error when it is opened in VLC player but it plays in divx player but it wont play on my PS3. Something is wrong with the encode, I encoded it again and it is still the same way. The encodes take about 10 hours a piece and this is on a quad core machine. So right now I am stuck until I can find another way of encoding it and getting it to work. Sorry.

Whats the difference between this one and the one with the all red cover?

I think I got this divx business figured out. I have to run the files through a program called HDTVtoMPEG2 first and then run them through dr. divx. So far it seems to work on a test file I ran. If everything is a go I will put my quad core to work. If not I will try that program that was posted in that link. And as far as the nhltorrent thing goes, I wouldnt consider 1024x768 to be HD. The files I have captured are 1920x1080 and they look mindblowing.

Quick update on my HD offering. I am having a hell of a time getting the 25 gig files converted to divx. Divx does not want to cooperate at all. I am gonna keep working on it.

Just picked up the book for $10. Seems like a solid deal. The medallions seem a bit steep to me.

If anyone is interested I just captured all of the hi def video of game 6 and all of the local 4 postgame celebration coverage all without commercials and without the crosby vomit fest known as the intermission reports. Right now it weighs in at about 25gb but I am going to convert it to divx hd to get that to a more manageable size. It wont be setup to play on a dvd player just a computer or ps3/xbox. It will be in 1080i. Anyone interested?

If there is any positive to last nites game it is the fact that Oz was solid and the team played much better once he was put in. I think they can ride that going into the game tomorrow. If the Wings score first tomorrow I think its lights out Nashville. I also think Osgood should finish this series and then they should maybe give Dom a go in round 2 if we get there. I think at some point Hasek will rebound and be a beast.
