I gotta admit, i agree with this post 100%. We have big expectations here and Blashill was supposed to be able to smoothly come in and coach this roster because he had so much prior experience with tons of the young guys. If we miss out on the playoffs this year, he needs to get axed.

Haha yeah that was another albatross contract but I mean Luongo had consistently been considered an elite goalie (despite the Schneider/Lack fiascos) and had the stats to back it up. There was a good fit in Florida because of his history with that franchise. And I'm pretty sure the Canucks retained some salary. I don't think you can point to the Luongo fiasco and say that will work with Howard

Very worrisome situation indeed. Mrazek is already the much better goalie and he keeps getting better and better. Teams aren't stupid. They realize our situation, and why would they willingly take an overpaid headcase of a goaltender in Howard? A goalie with zero confidence and who can't even play the puck. I have no idea what Holland can do here

Funny that St.Louis game winning goal seemed like almost a carbon copy of that goal McDavid pulled on Mrazek earlier in the season. I wonder if it's just coincidence or if they finally figured out Mrazek's one on one weakness. For the record I don't blame Mrazek at all for those goals lol. Just thought it was interesting both guys pulled nearly identical moves -

I have a deeply rooted hatred for the Sharks as well since those back to back playoff series we had a few years back. To almost come back down 3-0 in the series to lose that Game 7 (2012?) was as big a heartbreaker as that 09 Pens and 13 Hawks losses. Remember that damn miraculous Datsyuk backhand late in the 3rd? I thought for sure we would take that game. Anyways, it would be sweet to go in there tonight and take 2 points and bump the Sharks further out of the playoff picture. -
