I just watched Fight Night at the Joe in its entirety the other night, so I'm feeling the blood boil a little bit when I see that logo. I'm hoping for a blowout!

There aren't many people around who don't think Helm is ready for the NHL. Leino may still need to adjust, but he's probably ready too.

That's nothing new with the Wings though. They've been padding goalie's save percentage for years whenever they get lazy and start taking all these perimeter shots.

I thought he played well. Lots of perimeters shots, sure, but he still played alright. The second goal was a bad angle, but Sammy actually put a good stroke on it. I was mostly referring back to the first round last year anyway.

That play was reminiscint of Nick. Fake the hard slap shot, good vision, set up the one-timer from the slot. Andreas is going to have to do that a couple more times if he wants to be on Nick's level though.

We don't know. It's hard to even tell what happened. He tied someone up in the corner, finished his shift looking alright, and never returned. Looks like a possible ankle tweak.

Good for you. Ever since high school ended (which then ended my competitve hockey and baseball playing careers), I've had no motivation to hit the gym despite having a terrific athletic facility up at school.

lol, I didn't say I disagreed. I call out Mindfly everytime he posts something dumb. I just haven't seen anyone blow up like that, haha.

I'm not necessarly an enforcer slappy, but it'd be nice to see someone drop the gloves and light a spark under this team. There's no reason a guy willing to be physical and drop the gloves can't take Kopecky's spot, it isn't like he's providing anything anyway.
