while conklin gave up that softie early, he totally redeemed himself with solid play through the rest of the game. this was the kind of game he needed to show the team he can still bring it.

52 shouldnt need anyone to step in for him. thats the wings toughness problem, they think they need someone to fight for them. bert, cleary, ericsson, abdelkader, etc should all be playing more physical and starting more s***.

i noticed the same thing. i think it was their camera settings at first, but the lighting there has always been horrendous for television. not sure how it is for the players... wtf? my screen went black!

what an awful shift... no compete. losing all the puck battles. and ericsson takes a penalty on queue.

that is the definition of a dumb penalty. it was the first shift. there was no harm in losing that puck battle. now, the wings have to start the game on the defensive and lose the ability to get a quick start. bert needs to be better.
