I knew I shouldn't have checked this thread. You people need to relax. The game is only half over, and it's tied. Dallas has had momentum because they trapped our 4th line in deep and they got the early period powerplays. Wings are doing great to hold off the storm. Osgood is really sharp. Filppula looks really good out there. See? Plenty of positives from this game. Take a breath and cheer on your Wings, don't cut em down. Go Wings!

He cleared up the redneck statement on Coaches Corner last night. He said where he's from, rednecks were the Scottish and the Irish who came to Canada and worked hard labor and their necks got red. He said he's a redneck and he's proud of it. I don't know what all the hate is about. He gave nothing but praise to the Wings last night if anyone bothered to listen. He said there's no way Dallas will run away with this series. He also loves the city of Detroit. The hostility is quite confusing.

Don Cherry was lovin' the Wings last night. In fact, he said "there's no way Dallas wins this series." Same ol' Grapes!

The crowd was nuts. Everyone was on their feet and loud as hell the final 2 minutes. The Ozzie chant at the end was REALLY loud. We were going crazy.

The refs have been so-so all series. There's no reason it would change now. Although, you must admit, the Wings havegotten the best of the calls throughout the series. And I'm pretty sure the pro's in Toronto know if the goal went in or not better than you.

Man, Kelly Hrudey is as bad as Pierre. He's already predicted game 7. Every sentance started with "Ellis", even after the game. Gotta put Ellis in his shell Sunday. We are our own worst enemy, building up his confidence with all these shots. Screen him, and I never thought I'd say this, but, take more shots from the point, and look for the deflection or tip in to get two or three quick goals. (I know, easier said than done). GO WINGS

Welp, this is what I said all along. We sweep at the Joe, they take game 3 at home, and we close it our at the Joe in game 5. Good game by both teams. Very entertaining game to watch. Arnott steppped it up at the right time, and now we gotta step up next game to take the motivation away from them. We need an early two goal lead next game (much like tonite), but instead, keep attacking until they lose their motivation like game two. Go Wings.
