My dad has never been terribly fond of Lidstrom. He's always found him too invisible - that said, his favourite player is Bobby Orr so I guess he'd probably consider virtually every d-man invisible by comparison

I'll be amazed if Ottawa winds up missing the playoffs altogether. The severity of the slide they've had in the last half of the season has been nothing short of unbelievable.

The crazy thing is that all eight playoff spots in the East are still yet to be cemented. Hypothesizing playoff rounds is going to be complete and utter speculation right up until the last day of the season.
