Ken Cal made a good point this afternoon on the fan 590 (no audio on this one yet) he was talking about Lidstrom paired with jonathan ericsson how the puck coming out of their own end goes from lidstrom to ericsson and back to lidstrom before it gets out of the zone (if it gets out), with Rafalski there the puck was gone out of the zone much quicker. He also added that this is why some of the wings like #13 arnt finding the space hey need, makes lost of sence to me. Would I like him back? ASAP please, he was suggesting after tonights game Rafalski would have fri sat and till sunday at 5 to rest up and could be back but he dosnt know what is wrong either so dont call me on it.

How many times did you see the puck go back to the blue line in the attack zone and it kept rolling past it when normally you would see the defence play it back in? The deffense were backing up and not holding the zone the result... Holmstrom stands there doing nothing in front of the net then has to skate akwardly up ice to get onside. Its not his fault he isnt designed to play this way hes not much of a skater if the deffense is going to back up early to play more of a defensive game I think the wings should re shuffle the lines put a more speedy Cleary in Homers spot.

I WILL EXPECT THEM TO if that is the case. Otherwise I may as well give the t shirts and jerseys to the homeless tear down the posters flags and banners give up anything else that has anything to do with the wings and watch figure skating next year instead. No matter what happens when I turn on the TV I chear for my team to win no matter how much their backs are up against the wall.

anyone else noticing that the wings defence is already left the attacking zone when the puck comes back there is no one there to hold it in more often than Im used to seeing from this team.

After a very long game and some travel back to the west coast the teams should indeed be tired lucky for the wings they had a chance to rest after their 4 game sweep of columbus. I like the odds lets hope they work in the wings favour. And as someone already said 16-0 ya would be nice but you gotta stop and think about that for a second REALISTICLY.
