I like the lace up neck as well but I would not change a thing about the logo. The only other tweek I would consider is a slightly darker red colour. As for the winter classic I have seen the old cougars jersey as a knit sweater I like that but not sure if a sweater is "playable" in it would be a nice touch if your into old school sentimental touches.

i took #3 my 2nd choice would have been #5 but I dont really really like any of them, I think they should find a new batch no offence to any of the artists of course. A lot of these sound like 80s tv show theme songs to me.

Ive always found the Sarnia Bridge shorter as far as "getting over the boarder" but on the map its a longer route, you can however make up some time along that stretch of 402 hwy, however saying that last june on my way back from the cup parade there was construction on the 402 it was down to 1 lane in parts. The only real way to know is to take 3 cars and cross in 3 diff spots all leaving the same destination at the same time. oh if you do go via Sarnia once your in Michigan dont forget hey are doing construction on 75 but I dont know if that will affect your drive going downtown thats a local question. enjoy the game though you lucky bastard

I wonder if matthew thinks Burke is the best GM in the league?

go to triparvisor.com check out what people have to say about the hotel and area I visited Detroit once last year for the parade and once the year before for a game I heard the same kind of stories you prob did like cops pulling people over for stopping at red lights telling them not to stop ect but I never saw anything like that around the joe best advice I can give is map your route and don't explore what looks suspicious getting lost could lead to problems

I guess pre season is more important to some than others, never thought 2 pages of replies would come of this anyway thanks for the explanationS. I'm going to file this one under I can't belive I never noticed it just like the little arrow beside the gas tank pic in cars who knew that told you what side the tank was on. Guess I'll need to rent more cars and watch more pre season hockey.

question about a Dominic HasekPro Set rookie card
shoe replied to Holmstrom96Screens's topic in General
a rookie year and a rookie card are 2 different things, the rookie card could be 3 years into a players career if he slips through the cracks some guys are nobodys some back ups don't play often Eg hasek behind belfour in Chicago he might have played but never when a photographer was around There was a price guide called becket look it up online it might be around still they listed all the cards the price if it went up or down in value and an RC will be placed beside it if it's a players rookie card. -
I see in gallery 2 picture 8 that Maltby brought his own pillow for the bus trip how cute is that!

Many people are saying haha Burke you got nothing for him, true but they also didnt give up anything to get him. Burke may have signed him for 2 reasons 1 a good defenceman and 2 taking away a defenceman from a rival team oops Detroit countered signing Rafalski.

2nd Scotty really liked campbell I bet he advised his son on him. I sort of wondered how long Lang had left when Bowman went to Chicago. Lang is a good team guy I think he will do ok in Montreal might help their dressing room, they are quick though so he might have to glide around quicker.

I like the winter classic idea I just dont like that Detroit dosnt get to play at home for it, so my thinking is this let Montreal have their outdoor game at home then Detroit can start pushing for a game at the Big House in Ann Arbour. Hey Montreal got 2 so we want 2 fair is fair no?

Interesting before I read the article I thought Toronto would have been ranked 2nd Detroit 3rd but its the other way around I was also surprised to see Vancouver rated higher than Calgary. Id like to see that recalculated yearly interesting stat.

I like the sound of these 2 neither one of them should make the wings but a fighter named Foreman is just cool and a French kid with a goal scoring knack is something the wings havnt had in a long time even if he is short and light. Jordan Foreman, F, 21, 5-09, 165, 65-28-34-62-155, Niagara (OHL). The 5-foot-9 center isn't big, but he won the 2005 Memorial Cup with the London Knights and became a fan favorite with his big hits and willingness to drop the gloves. Francis Pare, F, 21, 5-10, 185, 69-54-48-102-54, Chicoutimi (QMJHL). Pare racked up 54 goals and 102 points last year and was named MVP of the QMJHL. He has already signed a contract with Grand Rapids for 2008-09.

anyone who dosnt like the lines, dont forget about injury, opportunity, off years and any other reason one could get moved around. Yeah someone could even piss of the coach and oops there goes your playing time. Im sure we will see many line combos over the course of the season.

What makes the Red Wing's organization worth taking less money
shoe replied to RedWingsLaw's topic in General
team plane Fans Eg compare the wings parade to the southern teams parking lot get togethers. Fun to win Built from the ground up not just priced together every year like say the leafs the wings squire players that fit their system Some people may. Of get this but I think playing in a northern city with a big fan base has a certain hockey feel to it I think I might feel out of place in January going to the rink in shorts and a hawisn shirt in southern Florida with your arena beside a mall rather that surounded by old city buildings. -
Thanks for repeating that long ass list was that really nessesary?

"Heading into the 2007-08 season with no contract, Brent Sopel was invited to the Detroit Red Wings' training camp. However, on September 28, 2007, Sopel left Red Wings camp, signing a one-year, $1.5-million contract with the Chicago Blackhawks"
