It wouldnt be down Yonge st it would follow the Santa Clause parade route along Bloor and University. Much wider streets with more boulevard to stand or sit along, but this is a silly comment anyway because they are no where close, maybe in the next few years they can have a "we made it to the playoffs parade". Toronto would go nuts though, the city would stop, back in the mid 90s when Pat Quinn took them deep they would cheer all into the night along Yonge st, after they made it to the next round of the playoffs, it got a bit out of hand and annoying stupid stuff would happen like not letting a car full of girls past until they flashed you.

I dont like him either but sometimes you like to have those guys that you hate, theres a reason we dont like him. Everytime Maltby got in a tangle he would leave it and give the guy 1 last bump or a face wash if he wasnt a Red Wing I would be barking at the TV rather than smirking. did anyone see or hear an interview from him over the playoffs, I notices he wasn't in the parade, last time I heard anything about him was he got all mad at the leafs cause they wanted to talk to Holland and Nill. Is he not into celebrations or is it just odd luck I didn't notice him.

well since no one has really stepped up with some info about where to park where to stand what is closed down ECT ECT I have done some poking around The free press link above has a map and limited info that article says go here for more www.theparade.org that's basically a corporate site with no info either. That site leads to www.clickondetroit.com and that's another news type site that quickly gets away from parade info and tells a sports story. I remember reading once people were disappinted that the joe parking wasn't open for the parade in the past so scratch that idea. Is the transit system linked to any safe parking spots? Eg run through a hotel with a parking garage? I'll be coming from Toronto and right now my plans are to be there early I might even leave tonight after work and stay at a hotel in michigan.

Im sure it was hard for the man, going from Starter to backup but before this thing is all said and done win or loose, I think we should recognize that he has taken his spot on the bench and not complained about it, at the end of the games he has come out to congratulate Osgood with a smile after the wins. I think he has been a real team player refraining from being a distraction in the locker room because he was benched may have been hard for him but Im glad he is there just in case. I thought I should post this before the end of the playoffs because we wont hear about him till later in the summer when the retirement question comes up bot these goalies have done a good job this year they have been a good combo. He has been playing with 4th liners on the 1st line his whole time as a leaf Im pretty sure if he was to sign with the wings he would have different expecations of his line mates. Not only that but it makes for unfair supply and demand that will affect the ticket prices for scalpers. Wrong Wrong Wrong! After seeing something like this if I was in wings management I would conclude my business with ticket master and do something like the Buffalo Sabres do and sell them on my own!
