I found some close seats for a good price when Detroit was in Buffalo last season I didn't know what to expect but WOW. Great stadium the fan base was close to 50 / 50 wings sabres, I really enjoyed myself there Id defiantly go back to Buffalo for a game. Parking kinda sucked ez to get in not so ez to get out. in the Main lot.

Osgood tends to play well when everyone expects him to fall flat. He plays the dark horse really well. I'm all for him coming back with all your doubts.

I was thinking about the obvious defense that is available (all the ufa's) and the not so obvious like guys trapped in the ahl with big contracts. Besides souray, redden and commodore are down there. I think Redden would be more welcome than Souray. I'm sure there are a few options hiding in Europe that wouldn't involve a trade for an overpaid ahl deffenceman.

John Labatt center is a great arena it's a feel the game type of place but ouch 65 bucks to sit in the back for pre season is pretty pricey.

Keep em in the west and fix the regular season schedual each team really should get to play each other once at home and once away. That would even out Detroits Travel a bit.

Imagine the owners delight of those bottom 8 or so teams in the east if Detroit moved out east what what we sent Atlanta to Winnipeg so Detroit can further reduce our playoff chances ouch.

hmmm I didnt think it was a very good season at all really. Not "Great" thats for sure. There were a couple of really really bad games, team got shut out how many times? Team didnt play a full 60 minutes on many occasions Home record wasnt that great. Lost the #2 spot at the end of the year. Key players in and out of the line up all season long with injuries. I was hoping for a better "Modano story" I was hoping Hudler learned a few tricks in the KHL and was going to come back and do some damage. Still waiting for Franzen to have a huge season. For me it was a touch year to be a fan. They really surprised me when they swept Phoenix, surprised me that they were down 3-0 to the sharks too, they pleasantly surprised me with the come back very proud of that made the loss tonight easier to handle. Thank you though Red Wings for the Entertainment. I check the Free Press and Mlive every morning before I read my own emails.

I think I would miss the west, less travel would be nice but there is something about going on a west coast trip, it always seemed to help bring the team together.

as much as a Franzen fan that I am he look like he is playing hurt to me his facial expressions look like he is in pain and out of energy. Is Modano a better option I dont know but I think he would have more jump. When Draper plays you notice him more than Miller, I think Detroit could use his Character/leadership/swaggar at the very least during this series.
