So like does this mean you can't go down to block a shot? I don't get how there would be rules on blocking shots?

So at school today I went on here and Red Wings website and looked at there schedule. Here is something I notice, all our games have been a win or loss by one goal but one game. I was thinking it could be that our players aren't putting the puck in the net, or our goalie is not doing very well right now. Anyone else notice this, and will this may become a problem down the road?

I don't think WGN shows NHL? Never seen it on it.

Yeah the games I have watched it seems we don't want to play or are too lazy with the puck. I know its early but, is this something we should worry about down the road?

I notice that also of the two games I watched. We seem to not make the best passes, and too many turnovers in our own end.

Maybe the staff should do something about the defense then, maybe in a practice pull them aside and work on some things with them.

So from this post I am guessing it was because of bad penalties were taking and the defense? I didn't watch the game last night so I honestly don't know if the calls were bad or what happen. I have only been able to see 2 games the whole season. Been very busy with school and hockey.

That will be stupid if only Blackhawks fans get for sure tickets to the game. I live in Minnesota and I am planning on going there.

I brought this up with my dad last night and he said that Toronto will get a second team because now don't quote me but I think he said that there the richest team in the NHL or something like that.

Yeah I guess in Kansas City could work. Its just hard to see a hockey team there. Yeah I guess it could work. I am sure it would get more people to the games, and hey NHL will be more popular. Not really.. Colorado, and Pittsburgh fans really do care about there team. The other two don't care about there team until it gets playoffs time.

No that still would never happen. WWE is like the god or something like that for USA. Plus I think it would be weird to have hockey on USA. I would rather see it stay at VS and NBC then go to USA. Plus I don't think NBC is all that bad, its better then VS I think.

Not going to happen. What would they even call the team? I don't think this would ever happen anytime soon. There has been talk about teams in Toronto, Las Vegas, or Kansas City? I don't see NHL teams in these cities. I really can't see a team in Las Vegas of all places.

I didn't see anything happen to Lilja that could of made him miss practice. Might have something with the family or isn't feeling 100%.

Why you see more forwards on defense is because of there shots. Also if a forward is on the point it also depends on what handed they are.

Yeah, they aren't going to show NHL much because really why should they care? They don't have a contract with the NHL so honestly whats the point? I would love to have ESPN and ESPN2 show the games before. I remember always listen to the theme song for hockey night and just being like "this can't get any better." I wish they would show games this season on even like a Friday night and Saturday night. I now that or I saw on this one site that ABC and ESPN2 are showing some college hockey games. Not much but a few of them. ESPN and ESPN2 should do the same with the NHL.

I have notice this also, last year we were beating teams by 2 or 3 goals. This year were winning by one or losing by one.

I agree, you aren't going to win games with young players that haven't played in the NHL much. Keep Kirk Maltby in, he's a very good player.
