First thing I thought of when I saw this thread, though I think his injury would also prevent him from playing hockey. I do agree that we no longer have to the skill to play the old system, but I'm not sure if Kenny and the rest of them will realize it themselves or keep on trying to fit the square peg into the round hole.

I'm fine with that, he may be NHL ready but I would not want a kid with only a day with the team to suit up against Chicago. Colorado is fine though.

Where was the head contact? That was all shoulder to shoulder. His head may have snapped back like with Huskins but the Sharks player never made contact to the head.

Huskins looked pretty solid last night, Sammy is out right now, and Bert has yet to play a game this season. I agree with keeping Sammy out in favor of Nyquist, and I will wait to see Bert play before I say anything about him, but who should we call up for Huskins? I can't think of anyone in GR who replace him without hurting the team.

1. Owners would be lucky if they got player revenue down to a 50/50 split, which is what I feel they are going for 2. Holland had better not have offered that, Nash is good, and would probably put up great numbers in Detroit, but he's not worth top prospects like those two.

He was getting top-pair minutes in Colorado the last two seasons. I have a feeling he was just having trouble adjusting to the system and we will see a much improved Quincy this year.
