I had soooo much fun last night at the game. I'll post pics a little later this afternoon when I get back up north but let's just say I got a nice little surprise from the 2nd star of last night's game, Kronner gave me his stick after he did his curtain call for being 2nd star!! Not even joking. I was hanging out down by the tunnel and after he did his little spin, handed it up to me!!! I'm soooo pumped!! Awesome game by the Wings, better yet to witness it live!! And Turco still sucks!

Watch for me on tv guys, I'll have a Wings t-shirt with the sleeves cut off Larry the Cable Guy style sportin the Wings tat and wearing my Winter Classic winter hat as well, not sure what my bro is gonna be sporting too. For you guys going, swing on by and say hello! I'll be in the lower bowl about 1/2 way up on the faceoff circle.

Hey everyone, Usually when I go to Wings games I ride down with a buddy who won't be going along this time so I'm taking my brother down instead. I have never driven down to the Joe so I'm wondering, where is the best bet for parking as far as cost vs. distance to the arena? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Hmm, I think I'll have to drive down from the U.P. both weekends, weekend #1 to meet Stamkos and the boys, and weekend 2 to see the champs!

Cheli will send back 90% of the time but it is autopenned if you send him a card. He for some reason, will sign anything else normally and autopen cards. Don't ask me why, I've just heard that's how he does it. Successes with Cheli come from writing him c/o his restaurant Cheli's Chili too, just a little FYI for ya.

I still do this and have gotten quite a few back recently. Some of my recent successes include: St. Louis, Kopitar, McCarty (sent to him in GR a few months ago), Tony Granato, Briere, and Theo Fleury. I have about 100 various autographs I have obtained thru the mail and there are only 2 that are autopenned (Cheli and Jagr) but besides that I am pleased with the success rate, I receive about 70% of them back.

I queued it on my Netflix, should get it Wednesday. To say I'm excited to watch it is an understatement

I'm sorry Marty Turco that you're still our ***** even though you finally won your first NHL game at the Joe these playoffs. I'm sorry Sidney Crosby, but even though you are the NHL's poster child, you got in the way of the Red Wings in the finals. I'm sorry for your teammate Mr. Malkin and the lack of heart he had through the whole finals. This is coming about 2-3 years too late. That SJ team is waaay too talented. Take out Marleau being a playoff choke artist and they still have a solid, deep team that should already have at least one Cup by now.
