I suppose that's true, although counter-intuitive, considering the Super Bowl brings in ad revenue over $1 million per 30 seconds.

Am I the only one who finds it strange that Canadian channels show the American nation anthem pre-game, but Versus doesn't?

Considering the potential he showed early in his career, this isn't a HUGE surprise. He's always showed he could make incredible plays handling the puck and making other players look foolish with moves. Now he does it almost every night. It's possible that his lack of grit or strength earlier originated from the fact he was shy and didn't really know the other people in the league. With experience, he has learned exactly what needs to be done every game to put the team at an advantage. Seeing how hard Datsyuk works proves that hard work and determination pays off. I hope he is duly rewarded with the cup this year, and possibly some individual awards that he has certainly earned.

The team seems on a mission right now, it's amazing. Even with a low shot total and getting out-hit in this game, they never panicked and had a strong hold on the game throughout. Let's hope we can end this series on Wednesday and get rested for the finals!

Congratulations to Pavel on his first career hat trick! Ken and Mickey often made mention whenever he had 2 goals in a game that he'd never had a hat trick in his career.

As a few people have hinted, Drake and the other vets have looked much better in the playoffs than regular season. It's been great seeing every line contribute, including the 3rd and 4th lines that seemed sort of slow at times during the regular season.
