Since that Boston game was probably the worst we've played all season, I decided to watch for other things in it than how we were playing. Datsyuk kept going after Chara (and vice versa) the entire game, and all but one of the times, Datsyuk got leveled. Determination baby.

Saying you "Don't like Cleary and never have" shows you can't form an objective opinion about him and will only nitpick and bring up meaningless plays to prove your point. Rip on Samuelsson and Lilja if you don't like being disagreed with/proven wrong.

I haven't read the whole thread, so maybe this has been brought up already. I've watched most of all of the games this season and I have to admit, I'm pleasantly surprised by two people on the team. Samuelsson and Lilja look greatly improved from last season (the regular season particularly). I haven't noticed nearly as many turnovers from either of them, though there have been a few, not to the degree I was used to seeing last year. Lilja is probably our only legitimate shot-blocker, to boot. Or maybe I'm just not paying close enough attention. Another note, more specific to this game; Meech looked quite good. I was at his first game of the season (vs NYR) and he looked completely lost and made a ton of mistakes. He was brutal in that game. Last night's game, he was stronger in the defensive zone, and made a few plays to force the issue on offense.

7/7 on the PK and 3/5 on the PP? Something like that? Solid.
