I doubt it. First goal was a deflection of a skate, no chance for the goalie. Second, terrible defense; Richards lets McDavid go and Green didn't take away the pass. Third, deflection off of KFQ's skate right into the net. Wouldn't make a difference who was in net, nothing Jimmy could have done on any of those either. Though Mrazek has been making some of our best passes, so there's that!

Well, this is terrible. I'm going for a walk. I'd rather get some exercise than watch this froot loop of a game

I know this seemed alot like the Maltby situation, but the difference is Cleary still stuck around too long. Had Cleary gotten this deal the first time he came back begging for a contract and it was clear that he would have to earn his spot, there would have been no problem and no animosity. Only this last 2-way deal is the same as Malts, but that would mean ignoring that Cleary turned down a 3 year deal to test the market, didn't get anything, then came back and got two charity contracts when we didn't have space, and then he is in the Maltby situation. I'm not just going to ignore all that. And look, he's finally reporting to GR!!

That's a nice shot and all, but it's not like his stick was behind the goal line. On that note, I really wish someone would go over this with our team (or at the very least the D) The lane you are shooting in isn't the one you are looking at, it's the one from where your stick blade is. From 60 ft out a difference of about 3o might be the difference between getting the shot through or going into the defender's shin pads (I'm looking at you Ericsson)

Alright so I guess what I heard was a debunking of the 'glass is a liquid' which it is not. Anyway, Roster Moves eh? Whatever moves have to be made when it happens, if any, it's nice knowing we've got Dats in the bullpen to add to this group that is already playing pretty well

That's where I got it! I saw them in Birch Run right before Colors came out where they played a bunch of stuff, then I saw them a few months later on the Colors tour. I haven't really listened to their new stuff though, it just seems like they've been trying to outdo Colors and ended up kind of over the top for me

Did you see the original Terminator that came out in '84? Cuz I loved Genisys, but could see why people wouldn't like it if they weren't familiar with the first movie. Jason Clarke was awesome as John Connor. Emilia Clarke is a total babe with her regular hair color (not that she isn't with the GOT wig on). The only character I didn't like was Kyle Reese, they should have found some else to play him.

Difficult to say really. Howard has looked much better. Hell, even his passing is better now! I know he put in a ton of work over the summer, and it's paying off. But I'm kinda wondering why it took him losing the starting job last year to get that kind of work ethic.

Would anybody have a problem with a "Weird Wings Stats" thread where we track these kinds of things over the season? I don't even care about how often it happens to other teams (Well, it'd be nice to compare but...)

Assuming most of you are Lions fans (I'm a Packers fan, Green Bay is only 2 hours from here), I'm surprised you guys aren't more sympathetic to the "Owen" jokes. I remember when by little brother was born about 13 years ago, there were jokes about naming him Owen after the Lions record (my dad is a Lions fan). And of course who can forget that "Owen 16" season not long ago, which was capped off by a loss to the Packers if I'm not mistaken

Alright I'm just gonna say it. She isn't that attractive. She's not ugly by any means, just not as hot as you guys are making her out to be.

It will depend on whether or not we win during these 3-vs-3 overtime every once in a while, unlike last year when we went 0 for 7 in the shootout for a stretch

Wings look good tonight. Defense needs some work (maybe just some time to gel and get Dekyser back). Howard's been solid. Although this is all coming against the Leafs; not to take anything away from Howie and the Defense, but the Leafs had some good chances that probably should have been in the back of the net.
