Well I don't think that by saying Howard should have done something else or played it differently they are ignoring the defensive breakdowns. I'm mean should we all start posting what percent responsible everybody is for every goal? -

Be honest, is there ever a time where you would think that the goalie IS responsible for a goal? Because the constant deferring to the the defense is almost as annoying as if someone was saying that the goalie is always at fault for the goal (which I will readily admit is not the case) -

You don't seem to understand that there are varying degrees of being drunk. I wouldn't say he sounds hammered. I know he doesn't drink, but there are times he sounds like he might be a little loose.

Why is a dissenting opinion considered trolling around here? And really that comment is not at all out of place considering the quality of the Wings play in the first period. -

Yeah I was under the impression that we had a ton of cap space. I know we had quite a bit 2 years ago and don't really recall any sizable contracts added -

Actually I've noticed a number of times where Mick says "That might have been deflected" And then you proceed to watch 3 replays until he finally sees that it was deflected even though it was obvious on the first replay. There have been a few other things that he's been doing that bother me. Not that I don't think he's great but he's definitely slipped a bit.

That's a little extreme. I'd say over the rest of the season/next season that could happen. Next season would be Mrazek as 1A and Howard as 1B. But it does need to be said that Petr has only 3 less wins than Jimmy has in quite a few less games played. -

Depends on who says it... You made it seem like he was really bad all the time. I was just pointing out that had a bunch of 1 or 2 GAA games. There is no hate inherent in facts. They're just facts.

This isn't an Anti-Vaccine rant, I'm not trying to push anything on people If pointing out that Howard just did what people were ragging on Mrazek for is "Anti-Howard" then yeah I guess I'm guilty. Hey, I don't agree with anyone who thought bringing Cleary back to waste a roster space and sit in the press box was good move. Am I furthering the Anti-Cleary Agenda by posting that??

Really? Cuz it sounds like you're the one making excuses as to why Howard shouldn't be judged by the same standard that Mrazek was while he was playing. By the way, I have on occasion gone out of my way to say how much better Howard has been playing this season. But if you want to just ignore that and concentrate on a thread that I made with a couple funny stat categories to fit this presupposition that you have then I guess there's not much I can do about that.

Oh. Excuses. I can play that game. Howard's been a starter for 5 seasons and Mrazek is a rookie, but that's easy to ignore when you have an agenda. Petr just needs to start more to get used to playing in the NHL.

Just posting my thoughts. Or am I not allowed to do that? And it would have needed to be true tonight for a win, even though it was Howard they would have had to bail out and not Mrazek.

You guys are right. The only reason the Mrazek got any wins was because the team scored five goals to overcome his awful outings like they had to do again tonight, OH WAIT...

Oh s*** Howard is on pace for a 5 GAA night. He's clearly not ready for the NHL. Send him back to the minors where he can work on his game and maybe he can back up next season
