I know we see this all the time, but I really don't think suspensions should be determined by whether or not a player gets hurt. Dirty plays should be punished, clean plays should not. Boarding?? Are you discussing the same hit as everyone else?

I don't think it works like that. We only get cap relief while he is out. Which begs another question. What happens if for what ever reason we do need to call someone up while he is out and can't do it because he wasn't put on LTIR? I mean didn't we just play a game with 17 skaters because of this problem?

I just had surgery to repair a bulging disc a few months ago (which is sticking out again btw). Its quite painful depending on how bad it is. Imagine getting stabbed in the spine with every movement (at least that what I feel like). On top of that, the disc can be pressing on the nerves in the spinal cord causing a numbing, tingling feeling throughout your extremities (which is actually quite painful/annoying) -

On our current roster the Wings have... 7 players from Canada 6 players from United States 6 players from Sweden 2 players from Russia 2 players from Czech Republic 1 player from Finland I would say we have quite a bit of diversity too
