Why is everybody here bitching about what the wings got in return? I think people are forgetting that THIS WHOLE TRADE WAS TO DUMP SALARY for Franzen's return on Tuesday. How can you say this was a bad trade?! Either Lieno gets traded for a 5th round pick or he gets picked up on waivers and we get nothing in return.

Hey man, I go to bay too so know about the IDs. I went the game game yesterday and used my ID and I got in, although I didn't even end up showing the guy my ID. I went with a couple of friends who had normal IDs and I think he checked the first one and didn't even bother with the rest of them. it was kind of a hassle though because none of our seats were next to each other (and the Joe was packed) so we kept on trying to find empty seats and we kept on getting kicked out. but other than that and having nothing to do but drive around downtown detroit for five hours it was a great time.

Did anybody just see that interview with pav? they asked him who he thought would win the super bowl and he said Manchester United. gotta love that guy.

Has anybody bought the student tickets from the Joe? I'm planning on going to the game against the Avalanche in a couple weeks. Just wanted to know what your experiences were ( such as what time to get there. also there are six of us going and wanted to know if our tickets would be next to each other)
