We don't rebuild. We reload. Care for a game of Russian Roulette?
-
Then what's your definition, hotshot?
-
Read your own signature. 3 Cups in 6 years, that's a dynasty by any way you count it. Finals in 1995, 1997, 1998, 2002. You're saying there's a reason not to be nostalgic? Damn, it's impressive written that way. Since 1995, Finals in 1995, 1997, 1998, 2002, 2008, 2009. Insane.

Charges for...?
-
I'd go with charges, too. Green lasers are powerful things- you can very easily permanently blind someone with those.
-
Halak wouldn't be a starter in Detroit, and it says he wants to be a starter, so no Halak.

Oh, bulls***. 30+ games for Franzen. Season for Lilja. Month for Kronners. Month for Z and Cleary. Month now for Holmstrom. Month-plus for Filppula. Are you seriously telling me they can't handle adversity? They're the Grand Rapids Red Wings, and they're still in the playoff hunt. You've got to be ******* kidding me. And, as I typed this... GAME.
-
Why are you here, then? Can't handle a little adversity?
-
Jesus, guys... If your goalie makes 51 saves you should win it damn near every time. Weak.
-
Shake it out, come on...

Not on your life, not MADD. They're neo-prohibitionist at this point. Dislike drunk driving, sure. Say that drinking should be banned, as they pretty much do? No.
-
Never have, here. If I'm going to drink, it's when I'm home for the night. I don't do the bar thing. Not cool, Cheli. Not cool.

This one's pretty clear- Link.

Older and older? Really? Under 30- Abdelkader, Eaves, Ericsson, Filppula, Helm, Howard, Janik, Kronwall, Lebda, Leino, Meech, Miller, Ritola, Williams, Zetterberg. 30-35- Bertuzzi, Cleary, Datsyuk, Franzen, Lilja, Stuart 36-39- Draper, Holmstrom, Lidstrom, Maltby, May, Osgood, Rafalski 40 and up- None. A huge part of this team is under 30. Datsyuk and Cleary are both 31. Franzen's 30. Look at the lines you can mae using nothing but guys under 30. How about under 35?

One question. In December, I see 4 shutouts against. I see 2 regulation shutouts for, with one loss in OT. What is Howard supposed to do when the team doesn't score? I don't care if you have Terry Sawchuk in goal, if you can't be asked to put one puck in the net, you lose. What more should he give? What more can he do?
-
Rhodes Scholar, even. As for Osgood, he's sitting at #10 all-time. The others? Martin Brodeur, 582*. Patrick Roy, 551, Hall 2006. Ed Belfour, 484, not yet Hall eligible. Curtis Joseph, 454*. Terry Sawchuk, 447, Hall 1971. Jacques Plante, 437, Hall 1978. Tony Esposito, 423, Hall 1988. Glenn Hall, 407, Hall 1975. Grant Fuhr, 403, Hall 2003. Chris Osgood, 396*. *active currently He's a damn good goalie. Loaded teams? In Detroit, sure. With the Islanders and Blues? Not a chance. He's going to be Hall bound when all's said and done, and deserves it.
-
You are correct. He's plus for the career, minus in 5 different seasons.
-
Holy crap, what a moron. If that's acceptable, anybody mind if I start making jokes about baseball players dropping like Roberto Clemente?
-
More like he can only really do anything when there is a man advantage. His even-strength numbers are pretty unimpressive.
-
Awesome! I'll be there.
-
When exactly did Hudler "create offense"? 28 of Hudler's 57 points last season came with the man advantage. 8 of his 52 career goals were gamewinners. 13 of his goals were with the man advantage. Zero career shorthanded goals.
-
I'm pretty happy. If you look at him at his best (here, at least), he's exactly what Datsyuk needs most at his side. Bertuzzi is a classic power forward- nice shot, pure physical power, good hands. Datsyuk is the quintessential setup man- supreme hands, better than average shot, but limited physical power. Bertuzzi needs a Datsyuk type to flourish, and Datsyuk needs a Bertuzzi type. When healthy, Z or Franzen can both fill Bertuzzi's role. I wonder what will happen with Bertuzzi if he stays next to Datsyuk- could be an excellent season.

I do wonder how much of Leino's problems is a language barrier. Without Fil, he's the only Finn.
