If I'm wearing shoes, I have socks. Even odds on if I'm wearing socks without shoes. TPBM is trying to collect all the Stanley Cup Winning Elements, and noticed only 1 was a real element.

I'm sad now. I'd love to go, but if game 1 is Thursday and game 2 Saturday, that makes it impossible to go anywhere but game 5. I've an exam next Tuesday. That said, Wings in 5.

I'd bet on it. Cortisone and novocaine, if I were picking- kill the inflammation and the pain. It's probably a minor groin pull, and a week rest will have him right as rain.

Interesting fact: An "annihilation" in a playoff series is defined as one team losing in a sweep, and never once taking the lead, at any point in the series. This series qualifies- the first NHL annihilation since the first-round series with the Wings against the Kings in 2000. Wings were victors there, as well.

You could tell in the second, particularly after the 4th goal- Ozzie was using the post to stand. He was hurting something fierce.

Awesome game, parked in the nosebleeds, but the house was absolutely ROCKING. I've never seen it that up for a game, even the WCF last year.

He is Czech. Looking at a map of the Mongol Empire under Genghis Khan, the Czech Republic was just ahead of the leading edge of what they controlled militarily. Maybe some intermingling of Mongol and Czech?
