Larsson and McCollum both are doing pretty well for themselves. McCollum's probably 2 years away, but I could be quite happy with bringing up Larsson and running a trio with Conks getting about 45, Ozzie 25, Larsson 12.

I'd say to give Conks the starting job in essence for a while. Figure out wtf is wrong with Ozzie- is it his goalie coaching, a lingering injury, his confidence?- and then ride the hot hand in the playoffs.

This frustrates me on a very deep level. I'm looking at doing physical medicine and rehabilitation as a specialty, and working in professional sports is the Grail for a PM&R doc. Only the best get their chance, and it is never taken lightly. To work for a team is one of the highest honors, for any sports-med related specialty. They apparently took that chance lightly, and now a player is dead. Signing off before I say something I'll regret about them.

I'll go against the Accuscore prediction of 4-3 Sharks and go with 3-2 Wings. Ozzie's been playing well of late (even in the Stars game), and big games bring out his best.

They may well win. However, Detroit and many of its fans are in the Eastern time zone, where it's just shy of 11pm. At this pace, the game will finish at about 1-1:30am. I'll be up anyway until 2 studying (and I have class at 8), but many don't keep my weird schedule. Okay, Wings. You're better than this. Snap out of it and start playing like you can.

I'll take a 3-0 win. Dats, Hudler, Z. Conks does a helicopter spin on the top of his helmet to make a save on Pahlsson, and the Ducks give up after viewing the breakdancing display.

Ozzie's back, I think. 50 shots against, save percentage of 0.920, and he was one of the reasons the Wings got anything out of this game. They'll be back against Anaheim next game, and back to winning.

I'll put the lines of Howe-Delvecchio-Lindsay and Howe-Abel-Lindsay against any three in the history of the game. Fischer may play again. My wife may cry if this occurs. Osgood is top-20 all time and should be in the Hall.

Like I've said before, down one late in the game, Hudler's one of the guys I want with the puck. If it comes down to Franzen or Z and Hudler, or Hossa, I'll let Hossa walk 10 out of 10.
