Not I, but I've popped more than one beverage using things that should never be used as a bottle opener- belt buckle, car fender, screwdriver... TPBM knows WTF I seem to have stuck in one of my teeth.

I didn't see this email, so beats me if they're doing something similar that way, but mine are through the Surgery club at my med school. What better way to get people pumped about Sports Med?

Lucky. I'm still clutching my $28 tickets with locker room tour for the Vancouver game.

Good work, men. Now do it again.

Okay, nobody mention the S word for Conk...
-
How about 4-0?
-
No, thank God. TPBM likes Ruby Red Squirt.
-
Not recently enough! TPBM has dissected something.

A la carté, here. I've never voted a straight ticket of any form, and doubt I ever will. TPBM has built something from scratch in the last few weeks.
-
Hell yeah. TPBM likes Irish music.

Okay, so who is this guy? Why should I believe a word he says?

I forsee a solid 60 minutes, which means a W.

I just had a major exam in Immunology, and got a question right thanks to none other than our very own Mickey Redmond. All hail knowing gluten is a protein, not a lipid!

BOOT TO THROAT. Finish them. NO mercy.

I don't see it that way. Get all the parts playing the game well, and the team will. Maybe he was trying to say that each has to approach in his own way- his is defensive play, someone like Lilja on clearing the zone, things like that. Saying the team needs to play better implies that there is one problem, not many.

I'm losing faith in humanity. Someone posted on Yahoo Answers asking if Alaska was an island.

Note the date. Established 1905, and they've used the Red Wing just as long. The hockey version begun in 1932 follows the shoes, not the other way around. There is some gentleman's agreement not to step on the other's turf.

Considering what Herb Brooks was able to do, if it works... Someone has it in their sig, the question of who's more important- the name on the back, or the logo on the front? It's going to be a long and uncomfortable ride for a few days, sweating out the poisons, but they'll be stronger for it. Guarantee it. I liken the Cup hangover to the first few weeks of medical school. You had an awesome 4 years, got that coveted thick envelope, and are on top of the world. That first exam, though, never fails to kick you in the jewels. They intentionally make it the hardest, just for that. It's a painful knockdown, but you come back and are better for it.

Taken from the fine print on the NHL's website- "All NHL logos and marks and NHL team logos and marks as well as all other proprietary materials depicted herein are the property of the NHL and the respective NHL teams and may not be reproduced without the prior written consent of NHL Enterprises, L.P. © NHL 2008 . All Rights Reserved." Thus, the Wings and the NHL both own the Winged Wheel, with the Red Wings taking precedence due to creation. Essentially, the NHL can use it to promote or whatever, but the Wings can do pretty much anything they choose. If there's a challenge, it'll come from Detroit.

Are we counting my boxing days? Then, yes. 2. The person below me has won a fistfight before.

Yeah, the passion for the Rockets is dead. They simply don't put a compelling game on, in the last few years. Putting it another way- from 2000-2006, I made every single home game, including the MAC title game in '01 and '04. I missed 1 in 2007 due to a final the following Monday. This year, I've stayed through the end of one- Fresno State. The others were played too poorly.

Man... this is going to be long... *cracks a beverage* First off, Amstutz has lost his knack as a coach. He was once innovative and great at readying an offense, but now, his moves are stale. During the Northern Illinois loss, the color guy for the team said "UT rushes up the middle. It hasn't worked all night, but they keep trying". When the pass isn't working, he relies solely on the run in a small number of offensive looks. It's easy to predict, so defenses have been picking them apart. Next is the defense. Toledo lost their D coach a few years back, and their new one is awful. The former #1 MAC defense, one that was top-25 nationally, can scarcely be counted on to hold a team under 30. Aside from being ironclad against Michigan, they've been soft. Last, the conditioning. Far too often, Toledo comes out firing and racks up a decent lead, only to get smoked in the second half. Their conditioning has been just sad- no endurance. Don't get me wrong, I'm a Toledo fan. Opelt is a good QB, Collins is a darn fine RB, and Church can hit like Kronwall, but there is something seriously wrong in the land of Midnight Blue and Gold. Hope the next coach does better.
