His minutes will be limited, but he should be a good coach/teacher for the younger guys. You can't have enough depth, and to keep him at vet minimum, I like it.

Once, after a gigantic bowl of Cheli's chili, Chelios defecated Chuck Norris. True story.
-
I did. It makes sense overall. Why?
-
Anybody know where I can get Wings shirts in size Gigantor- 4XL or so? My father-in-law has indicated such would be a perfect gift.
-
Wonder if that's the one in the Toledo area.
-
I'd want it on August 5. It's going to Disney World!

Mmmm... leftover curry...

If anyone needs tips for weight training and the like, drop me a line. I went from 260 as a freshman in college to 175 now, and I've maintained that loss for the last 3 years.

Mine fits like an absolute glove.

He can haz cheezburger? Please don't kill me.

Game 5 of the Nashville series this season- Franzen in OT.

Lidstrom and Osgood, do they get their numbers retired?
Casey replied to SFwingsfan's topic in General
I'm fine with that as the "requirement". Odds are pretty good he'll get the Cup if he has a Vezina-class year. -
Not a chance. Lidstrom? Yes. 4 Cups, captain, 5 (6?) Norris trophies, first-team All-Star 7 times, all with Detroit. Hasek? No. Maybe if he'd played his whole career with Detroit (and how many extra Cups would that be...).
-
Now maybe Ozzie can get a Vezina and fill his trophy case.

The old Sports Arena was a classic. Small, crowded, packed with drunken East Siders and other hockey fans, in other words, perfect.

Same as mine. "Dom!!! Get your assinthecreaseohmygodIcan'twatch... SAVE!"

Keep your shoulder up and follow through. I was a boxer in HS, it's all about the follow-through. I swear by God that if anyone hit my wife... if they were still alive, they'd need a Ziploc bag for their teeth.

I like. He was playing better as the year went on, so I'd say he might become a regular contributor.

According to this (Ring Removal?) thread on another fansite, the current oldest ring is 1953-1965. THat would make, counting backwards, a ring that has been removed for 1952-1964, 1941-53, 1930-1952, 1925-1929 (no Cup Champion in 1918 due to the Spanish Influenza pandemic). 1906-1924 are actually on the rings of the Cup itself (More Cup trivia) and thus can't be removed, so there are 4 removed rings. Oldest team on the Cup would have to be the 53-54 Detroit Red Wings.

You may be right, but that shield sure looks like Dom Perignon to me...
-
I'll try my dammedest. Cursed work.

In the locker room, there's a pic of Hasek with a bottle. Look close, it's Dom Perignon. You're talking a hundred bucks a bottle minimum (1999-2000 vintages) to over two thousand (1955, 1928, 1929 and so on). Blends can be had for about thirty a bottle, but what Hasek is holding is the real stuff.

Glad all's settling down. Ever need an ear, fire away. I've spent more than a few nights alone in the dark with a campfire and a head full of thoughts.

Yeah, I'm so nervous. So nervous about finding a good tailor to sew the SC patch on my Chelios jersey, so nervous about which hat to order...
