I was there for Game 5 against the Preds. The house went absolutely NUTS when Franzen put it in.

He played in the Finals, so yes. It's 41 regular season games or a Finals appearance. Players can also be added by special petition- I would be mildly surprised if Meech wasn't.

I think that Dats breaking out was HUGE. The Wings may have lost game 5, but game 6 should be very different.

Fleury can't repeat last night's performance, Dats woke up, and the split Euro Twins will give the Pens fits. Tomorrow night we get the Cup.

I'm weak, so I'm back for one last post. Wings in 6. History is on our side- teams that are 3-2 with a game 1 victory are 13-8 in game 6, and 20-1 for the series. Wings in 6, and I'm out. Good night.

All I can find says that teams who are 3-2, having won game 1 at home, are 20-1 overall in the series. The '42 Wings would be in that group, so they would be last.
