You spend the same amount of time chasing after one thing, NEVER GET IT, then sit there and watch it being handed from person to person live after you retire, and tell me you don't tear up. Some of you need to grow up, and stop saying how much of a Wing hater he might be. Tell me this. If you had the chance to trade lives with him, and play the game you love for as long as he did, you'd take it in a heartbeat. Sometimes you people here at LGW just amaze me.

Can't say I agree. This was Jimmys year. Ozzie has played a major role this year, it just wasn't on the ice. He has talked to Jimmy, given him advice on what to do and what not to do. This year was about bringing Jimmy in, getting him used to the NHL. And what does he do? He outplays Ozzie. That's the reason he became the starter. Would we be in the same situation we are now? No one will ever know. I think that people need to cool down and realize that we are NOT going to win the cup every year. like I said in another thread last night, if we were winning 7-6 or 7-5 every night, but Jimmy was playing like s***, no one would be complaining because we are winning. Now that we are losing, you all point to the rookie goalie. Get it through your heads that this is a TEAM game. The WHOLE team has let everyone down, not just Jimmy.

For those of you LGW members that have a BlackBerry, you will know exactly what I am talking about. For those of you that don't have a Blackberry, I will explain for you. There is an application for BlackBerry, called BlackBerry Messenger. In the latest version of this app, there is the ability to creat groups about anything. I have decided that since it is playoff time, lets get together a group on BBM, so we can talk to each other even easier. Here's the catch. There are only 29 spots in the group left (30 total, but I myself, take up 1 spot). So, BlackBerry users, if you would like to join, you can either... 1) Place your PIN in a reply to this topic (Only if you feel safe placing your PIN for all the public to see) 2) Send me a PM with your PIN, and I will send an invite to you ASAP. That right there. That is exactly the arguement I have been waiting for. This is the best point that will be made in this thread. But, sadly, that is not the NHL we see everyday. I am one to think that most every other hit that seems bad, I think it's fine. So that being said, I play hockey, and am a bigger guy. I make a hit like that (same body size ratio), I get thrown out of a high school varsity game. I think that the fact that there was any head contact at all is enough to warrant suspension. I think that I think like a hockey player more than I do as just a fan. I am surprised that NOTHING was called because of the team that got drilled.

How do you not see the elbow to the back of the head? I'm gonna go against the grain here... That was one of the more dirtier plays I've seen in a while.
