Lol, the hook isn't even a hook.. it's the follow through of a stick-lift (albeit one fairly close to the hands), and the stick doesn't even hook around the opposing player in any fashion. I've noticed the *****-o-Meter is registering a bit high lately..

We've been outshooting the Pens in the 1st and 2nd period, the latter of which we've exited with a lead both times. We then enter defensive hockey mode and force them into taking a large amount of low quality, unscreened shots from the outside/bad angles. This is why their shot totals are higher. I really don't see how this is difficult to figure out. Our scoring chances have been of a higher quality. Our goaltending has been of a higher quality. It's not too hard to put two and two together there.

Well, I imagine he's going to be looking for balance on the lines to make sure that they can't get Crosby or Malkin against a defensively weak line. God only knows what combos he'll use.

For one year? D-man: Lidstrom. Should be a no-brainer. Forward: Hmm. Ovenchicken. Explosive scorer. Physical. Brings it in the playoffs. I think his defensive game is underrated, too. While he isn't a selke forward by any stretch of the imagination, he simply controls the ice while he's out there. Goaltender: Ozzie. Awesome playoff performer, and cheap to boot. Oh, and chanting "Ozzie! Ozzie! Ozzie!" rocks. In the long term? D-man: This is a toughy... moreso given that none of the highly acclaimed young d-men out there are proven playoff performers (yet). However, for now, give me Keith. Great skating, hockey smarts, smooth passing.. defense first but still puts up good points. Arguably the closest thing to a Lidstrom out there right now. Goalie: Ward. Best young playoff goalie available at the moment. Forward: Ovy again

Yea, it's different this time. Our AHLers are scoring a large portion of our goals/points on you instead of Mikael Samuelsson.

At first, I thought the name of this thread was "Create-a-Captain" for an online utility that would let you create your ideal combination of skills (within a finite number of points) to make your ideal NHL team captain.
