No thanks, much prefer the posted option. Hudler produces way more than Eaves/Miller; one of them on 4th line, Hudler on 3rd for 3rd scoring line.-

Madden: Not at this point Cullen: Debatable. He's certainly solid 2-way. Moore: Debatable; I'd potentially put him as one of my other top 15s. Reasoner: Respectable, but not ahead of Flip, Moore, Cullen.

I think pretty much everyone agrees with that.
-
Don't worry, it drives me nuts, too. Clarity ftw.

To be fair, that's the only word necessary to describe Chicago's situation last offseason. Though I suppose you technically got "Chicago lol boned"
-
Filppula is better defensively than Helm (Helm is a better PKer, however). Bolland is better at 1 on 1 shutdown but Flip is better positionally; I'd give an edge to Bolland based off of last year. Pahlsson isn't what he used to be; agree on McClement, though, he's very underrated. Smithson isn't quite to Flip's level, and speaking of Nashville, I think Flip's probably ahead of Fisher at this point. Datsyuk Zetterberg Toews Kesler M. Koivu M. Richards McClement Bolland J. Staal Bergeron Zajac Malhotra that's 12 I'd confidently put ahead of Flip, with a ~3 player cushion for a player or two I may have brainfarted on. Easily has a chance of slipping into the bottom half of my top 15. Agree on Carter at one point, by the way, but though he's still been solid the last couple years, he seems very uninspired (not quite lazy) the last couple as well. Reminding me of Heatley in that regard.

Well, none of the assets they let go were Parise-level. Also, they had like 23920320932 players going to RFA and a $4m+ bonus overage and what not, they were incredibly boned. Lol Chicago.
-
Yes. It'd be ridiculous to do that, though. Better to take the contract and trade some lesser assets for futures or something than to let an asset that big just slip away.
-
In cases of team-elected arbitration, the contracts only last 1 year. Which would suck epicly for both teams. Don't think either will actually get to the arbitration.
-
I haven't the slightest clue and don't know anyone who does, but it's frigging hilarious, even without the waffle edit.
-
Me too. Fletch would hang up the phone on me laughing, though. Fletcher is an *******.
-
Guy's been down a year, before that he was consistently scoring in the upper 30s-40 goals. Devils will work something out sooner or later.
-
It shouldn't, no. And fwiw I think Burns stays there, given the Wild tattoo he has on his back/etc. But who knows for sure what that team's management is going to do.. if they get enough value... More realistic than the impossibility of signing a guy that's been registered for team-elected arbitration to an offer sheet, anyhow.
-
Hi, welcome to LGW, enjoy your stay.
-
Well, he probably is the most realistic option of the "pipe dream" defensemen.
-
Keep in mind that my conclusion he has a chance in finishing top 5 in voting later in his career when his play further solidifies, and that this chance increases without Dats and Z eating votes... not that I think he's one of the top 5 fowards defensively (I'd feel fairly confident putting him in the top 15 centers defensively, though).
-
Well technically he would be, taxes.

It's a little premature of Brooks to say "can't". "Might not" is more accurate. They could still potentially buy him out, depending on whether he says 'no' in regards to the knee. They may be able to talk him into retiring and taking an office job because of said knee (which would be better than a buyout). If he does say no to a buyout, then the Rags put him on LTIR (probably the whole year). Brooks is certainly correct in that a buyout may not happen because of rules regarding buyouts and injuries, but it's a little early for "can't".
-
They'll both be locked up for a number of years this off-season.. how long are you willing to wait?
-
-
As I said would happen (though it's not like that was a profound prediction, either)... Anyhow, I'm pretty sure they'll both get deals worked out before arbitration happens. Arbitration hearings can really sour relationships, and these are both players that are rather important to their respective teams... and also players who seem rather happy with their respective teams. As I've stated, this is a protection method that's quite easy to predict.

At least she has a pretty nice bum to be plastered around. A lot less embarrassing that way.
-
Well, we win cups as the oldest team in the league so I'll live with that.

I disagree. The vast majority of people tend to care more about how well someone can dress up a pig than whether or not a product is a pig. Plenty of substantiated research behind that (used in sales and marketing departments the world over).
