We saw them practice during the 2008 playoff run, between games 3 & 4. They were at Big Bear for about an hour, and we were able to get pics and autographs by the team bus after practice. I was able to get Scotty's autograph that day! I would suggest calling the local rinks on Saturday or even Sunday morning and ask about ice time that day. My guess is they may have a practice on Sunday at a local rink (if Sunday isn't a day off), Monday would be The Can and you can't get in there. It's not considered "open practice", but they won't kick you out. We've seen them at Big Bear and Promenade in Westminster.

By now I'm sure you and your brother know that he has the entire Red Wings Nation pulling for him!! Thanks for sharing his story!

Of course, we all know the stick that Hasek tripped over belonged to Brett Hull. It was his attemp to save Hasek's life!

Why is Holland selfish? Because he didn't give his career over to Steve Yzerman? Holland mentored him and taught him. Now it's time to see what the student learned from the master!

Lindsay played 3 season for Chicago. Don't think the team has a "rule" like that.

I have Comcast, and got a letter they are not auto-renewing this year. I had to call and order. I'm pretty sure it starts on Oct 1

I was follwing Ozzie and Datsyuk during playoffs. I have no idea if it was really them. Ozzie only posted 2 tweets, right at the beginning of the first round. Datsyuk posted frequently, and it was pretty funny at times ("Why does Hank insist we wear matching ties to the rink?"), but I doubt it was really him. Anyway, Ozzie is still listed, Datsyuk has disappeared.

And win it for my dad, who passed away and taught me to love the Detroit Red Wings.

Actually, they do signings during the playoffs. Last year, we went to practice on the day between games 3 and 4 in Colorado. After practice, before they got on the bus, most players did come over and sign. Scotty Bowman was there, and he was signing also. It was all controlled, not everyone came over, but a lot of the players did.

Don't get too excited. Remember what O'Hallaran did to us in last year's finals, and Joannette was the one who watched Proger throw down Hossa last night with no whistle. And he called Hudler for goalie interference because he had the audacity to get cross-checked right into Hiller.
