Thought they played great last night and that's my takeaway from the game. The Pav goal was a thing of beauty and the OT loss is a stinker, but hopefully they are professional and realize it was a good test, and bounce back tomorrow against the Pens.

The team looks good as is, but I wish they would at least put him in one game for Nestrasil or Joakim, just so us as fans have a heads up as to what in the world the deal is. His contract is just alarming, they need to do something about that, and I don't think anyone is going to want to take it, it's much like trying to trade Franzen. Wings need to lock up Nyquist too. Hope they can figure out something about this guy because right now it's just confusing and he literally does nothing.

The kicking game is a problem, though the prolific offense is not doing much to help the cause. Gotta score more touchdowns, no excuse not to. Hopefully Prater works out the kinks with the kicking game, as missed kicks do cost the team games. Luckily they draw Minnesota!

Frustrating but expected. The Babs v. Holland on XO surprises me. I'm generally annoyed at the "overripe" theory still winning. I think it's outdated. Give these kids their shot. Nyquist and Tatar were in GR last year and now we're counting on them to carry the load this season!

I'm also in agreement that Hank getting stuck with Franzen slows that line down. I'm not too sure about Abby but I feel like Goose or (Tatar) Tots would be better on that line, probably Goose more than Tatar, I think Tatar seems to flourish on a line where he is the go-to guy.
