Not completely NBC related, but annoying that they don't release the schedule for next round immediately. They obviously know it already. What is the advantage in waiting until all series are done to release the schedule.

Think it's a marginal change. I wasn't overly impressed with Lashoff replacing double D's. Though neither seem to be as good. Ian White must be a corpse. Go Wings.

Per Khan, looks like Bert and Sammy are on the 4th line with Cory and Patty is out tonight.

Despite Sammy scoring, I think he sits. It would be a mistake to not have Abby on the top line. Sammy just a further liability when not paired with Dats and Hank. I'm really not sure actually, will be anxious to see what happens.

In reference to non-suspensions of Malkin and Weber, I can't agree more, but I think the reason that Abby got two, other than two games being par for the course this playoff season for suspendable hits; is mainly because this ( being "blindsided hits" ) was an issue that the league has addressed and stated over and over again through disciplinary measures that they will not tolerate it. Believe me I'm just as pissed as the next guy about to new NHL tuning soft and that Abby's hit was pretty borderline and etc etc. Bottom line is you have to adapt, especially when it comes to "blindside" hits. IMO. I just think that this particular type of hit has been addressed for several years now and that is why Abby got suspended for it. Also the Weber incident was such a joke non-call that it received national media attention, so you know that's just a total ball dropping by the league.

This really blows, but I think Amazon (my name for Kindl) has stepped up recently and hopefully that keeps up. I know it sucks right now but DD definitely is a bright spot to be excited about as someone that will be on our team moving forward.

Was a little annoyed that the classic Billy Joel - Matter of Trust after four goals was preempted for Don't Stop Believin' last night; I think DSB has run its course and has gotten mildly annoying (especially because "South Detroit" is Windsor, IMO) but hey, I guess it goes well with Wings' current state of affairs so I'll let it go!
