Not a fan of the off night. Think you know it wasn't a fun one tonight when you see Nick saying, "Are you f**king sh*tting me?" to end the game. Sums it up pretty nicely. Ho hum. Hopeful bounce back next game. Really would be a long regular season if Wings are streaky with wins and losses. Cheers everyone.

This is a tough blow - especially on a road trip. He's been huge for the Wings thus far, IMO. I'd like to agree with the sentiment of Commodore over Smith. I understand Brendan's been on the cusp and is fresh off suspension and should get some experience, but I don't see why they went and got Commy if he doesn't crack the top six in times like this. Especially a right-hander with Nick on the line. Doesn't make sense to me. Edit: I'm an idiot.

I agree. I just think Ericsson's multiple blunders may catch up and that White would be a tough loss cuz I think he's been lights out for the Wings.

My thoughts: 1. Hope White is not out for too long after that puck to the face (see point #2 & 3) 2. Ericsson blows 3. I really don't like Big E 4. Let's hope Jakub doesn't throw down again 5. Great to see four straight after that slump. And the Stars are a legit squad. Cheers. Congrats to HOFers coming up, especially Mick. Happy Saturday. Edit: PS. Just got back from the Joe. Great game. Note to self: Tossing the hat from 215, Row 8 is not going to make it anywhere close to the ice. Next time. But nice goin' Mule. It's great to see the offense back, but my takeaway from this game is Jimmy. I know it's still early, but to me, this is the year he is over the hump. This is year you differentiate him from others. This is the year he makes us contenders. (If we get five goals every game now!! ) Have a good one everybody, cheers.

I personally was not one who thought the Blues were in rough enough shape for a coaching switch, but I think Hitchcock has a long history of coaching that the Blues may be looking for. It's good to see that the franchise is hungry, I've seen them as being on the cusp with the young talent they have there.
