It should be interesting to see him play at the Joe tonight, wonder if he'll get a nice ovation.
-
First place is ours, let's hang onto it. If Wings can win tonight and Saturday, I will be thoroughly impressed/ecstatic. Let's go boys!!
-
100% would be fine with my team missing the postseason if they produced two championships in three years.
-
The boys are back. Let's go Wings!!

Thing is, Kings have managed to win two Cups with Richards. Contract's probably a mistake, but a mistake they can afford to make, given the strength of the rest of their team.
-
Wow that's nuts. Does LA still have their buyout clause available? Or did that all expire after the end of the year last year? (Sorry, I'm completely lost without CapGeek...too much research.)

I am a fan of the young all star team of sorts, will be a great showcase for those kids to show what they got. I am looking forward to this competition and curious to see if players will get as pumped as it as for say, the Olympics.

Awesome. Thanks for posting. Even though no Wings, I love watching at least the skills comp.
-
Probably a good problem to have at this point in time, having all the young guys eager, but like others I don't see him playing any time soon, and I hope he doesn't get disgruntled/overanxious in GR

Didn't look good at many times in this game, but glad they were able to get the two points. "Just win baby." LGW

Let's go Wings!! End on a good note before the All-Star break.
-
WC has lost its luster sure but as long as the NHL is generating the revenue, can't blame them. This one will be good.

Just a classic trap game. Shoot.

Piss.

Games like last night's give me good feelings about this team moving forward if they can stay healthy. Mrazek will be key as this grueling schedule continues. Let's keep the points coming boys! LGW

Gustav Nyquist-Henrik Zetterberg-Justin Abdelkader Darren Helm-Pavel Datsyuk-Tomas Tatar Drew Miller-Riley Sheahan-Teemu Pulkkinen Stephen Weiss-Luke Glendening-Joakim Andersson On defense: Jonathan Ericsson-Niklas Kronwall Kyle Quincey-Danny DeKeyser Brendan Smith-Xavier Ouellet Goalies Petr Mrazek (starting) Tom McCollum ...I would have liked Weisser and Just for Men flip flopped. I understand you gotta get Teemu going, but in theory, he is only going to be up for some time, and I'd rather see Weiss get better scoring opps in a game where they may be abundant.

Hasek has so many great moments performing that it's tough to pick. For me, it's something different. My favorite Dom moment is from 2002's Game 5, after Shanny buried the empty netter to seal it. His celly jumping up and down and crossing center ice to join the pile is something I'll definitely never forget. Much similar to Drake handoff in 2008 for me.

Hoping that FSN carries the ceremony in its entirety!

Great GDT. Congrats to Dom. Let's go Wings! Let's go Mrazek! Need to keep pace.

Good on the NHL to stick it to the culture of diving. This ain't soccer.
-
I find this to be extremely tame and the category of "meltdown" is definitely undeserved and an exaggeration by media.

Great to see Mrazek bounce back after that straight up garbo first goal (though I like his aggressiveness most of the time, it cost him this time). Also loved to see the Datsyuk finishing of his check, but I think major props needs to go to Abby and Sheahan. Abby because he is having a career year and showing he can really hang with the best, at least for now, (in my opinion), and Teletubby for his newfound confidence on offense. Dude could really mean something to the squad on a third line, when it appears the likes of Jurco, Glendening, Andersson could still use some polishing. Great to get 4 points on back to back road games. LGW

Quincy goal was great. Wings should have won and did. No complaints really. Just win baby.

All right Wings gotta win this one. Glad it's not a 10:30 puck drop. LGW!
