Hossa, Z and Dats are playing together? I've only seen this line once or twice. They are really dominating, now I just hope they can get one in!

Wings take this one by storm to keep the winning streak alive. That being said Wings 6 (Hossa x 2, Dats, Sammy, Lids and Z) BJ's 2

It was a great game. Our big 3 have been awesome and it's good to know that other people can step up and score when they don't. It's also been good to see better defense and see some more shooting from our side. Overall it was a good game, unfortunate loss of lebda but hopefully we'll get to see Ericsson play a few games!

Have a good time with Jr, I'm sure you guys will get good spots. Remember to shout extra loud for all of us here on LGW that can't make it as well

Oh man. When a player like Hossa says he'd stay for a discount, you gotta keep him. As much as I love Mule, if it means we get to keep Hossa long term AND at a cheaper price too, I'd go with Hossa, regardless of whether Mule stays or not. Hossa is much more valuable to our team in this time of age. Sure, Mule might become the next gordie howe one day but who knows. At the moment Hossa is and still will be in a few years, the Marian f***en Hossa that we all know. He's a keeper

Red wings fans expect a team full of datsyuks and zetterbergs. I can name a handful of players on each team I'd rather NOT have over Sammy, especially for the price we're paying him. People should just get off his nuts and just appreciate him for what he brought to our team. Remember when he scored not one but two goals in game 1 against the pens? Remember how else he helped us during the playoff run the year before that? Like it or not, he's also a member of the Triple Gold Club as well, so he knows what it takes to win big games. I will forever support Sammy as long as he's in the winged wheel. I don't see how some of you guys just support our best players but not our team as a whole. Give the guy some love eh?

Started watching after the NJ/NYR game. So far this game looks great. I can't remember when was the last time I saw two SHGs in one game.

Ahaha, that made my night :rotflmao: Wings 6 (Hossa x 2, Dats, Lidstrom, Zetterberg, Sammy) Pens 3

I think it's pretty cool how Fedorov won the fastest skater contest and the hardest shot for some All-Star games skill competition a while back. I think Feds was a more complete two way player but they are both awesome at what they do. Has Hossa ever participated in any All-Star contests? Just wondering Also, I think Hossa shows more fight and passion than Feds did. Sure, Fedorov did have great passion at times but I'm sure many of you guys have seen the rather less passionate side of him as well, especially towards his later years with the Wings. We all saw Hossa and his never say die attitude he had for the Pens in the SCF last year. One last thing, a lot of people say Drake was the cup hungry veteran that gave us a boost in that part of our game last year and how that helped the team but now that he's gone it's different. Well if you think about it, Hossa has been an NHL player for over 10 years now and he never won a cup either. He came so close last year, he was almost able to taste it. I bet he'll still have that cup hungry playoff drive when the time comes.
