Good news. I'd like to see what Leino could do on a line with Clears and Z. I'm sure if he could get his confidence going, he might become one hell of a player. He has a nose for the net but just needs to work on his finish. Also, I think Lebda has been sick for a long time already. He has had a case of cannotplaydefensitis for a while now

There's already been a thread or two regarding Lilja this week He seems to be doing better after seeing a chiropractor May recommended him over in Vancouver. He hasn't had any headaches in 3 days after that and said he might start practicing soon to see how it feels to skate at full speed and also take some light hits. He joked saying he'd rather not take any hits from the likes of Kronners or Stuart but maybe Osgood. I really hope he can come back to play a bit, at least to replace Lebda. He could also teach Ericsson a thing or two. Anyways, here's one for Lilja :beerbuddy: Cheers!

If the Leafs bring out Toskala then I hope he doesn't have one hell of a game like some of the lower tier goalies have against us in the past. I hope the Wings pepper him up and show the Leafs that he'll only be good as a back up Wings 5 (Dats, Zata, Lidstrom, Bertuzzi, Helm) Leafs 2 LET'S GO RED WINGS!!!

Without him, we wouldn't really have any big body presence around. Although he doesn't throw his body around the way he used to, he still does and just having his presence around helps. Without him we'd have Ericsson and he's not really that much of a mean hitter. I don't think Kenny Holland brought him over to score goals and make awesome plays but to chip in which he has been doing.

Things will start going his way. If all those shots of his that hit the post so far were in, he'd be 2nd on the team for goals Just wait till the season rolls on some more before requesting some sort of trade. On the side note, I think it'd benefit Ericsson for being able to play alongside with Lilja. He could learn a thing or two about using his big body to block some shots and some other stuff. He'd also have less defensive responsibilities of having to play with Lebda as well. Win win situation.
