I, for one, am just happy that we actually got someone well-ranked in this year's draft and not just some random name we've never even heard of, who would've gotten picked up by some team in the later rounds. Oh, to top it off, he actually WANTS to play for Detroit. Wow, that's a surprise to hear about Jimmy being out... this could be a very good thing or very bad thing, but I'm going with a positive outlook as usual. Moreover, ZATA! Unlike last time, I feel more confident going into game 3 at home! I'm hoping the crowd will be as energetic as ever to get the Red Wings going against the so-called Big Bad Bruins. Game 1 was pretty unexpected, but I felt a bit more confident going into that one. I feel like anything can go for the second game, as the Bruins wouldn't want to embarrass themselves in front of home crowd, twice in a row. I'm glad Jimmy will be getting some well deserved rest! At the same time, I wonder how Monster will perform, but I'll stay optimistic about it. The Lightning, as we all know, can play with some serious fire power when it matters, so the veterans will definitely have to chip in tonight if we want to get away with the nice W. This is going to be a huge game for both teams who've had their backs against the wall. I'm expecting it to be a pretty exciting one! I hope the Wings will be able to take advantage of the Leafs who played last night and fell to the Flyers 4-2, but we've seen such teams play harder against a rested Red Wings team.
