Ozzie's a standup guy. He's been through hell to be a part of this team and deserves every good thing that comes to him. He has always seemed like the little guy that no matter how hard he tried, Detroit fans just really wouldn't accept them as their own. I hope this has changed their minds. Thanks Ozzie.

Actually both were the Detroit Cougars logos starting in 1925/26. The Gothic is just an alternate version of it. That being said though, the Gothic one was never used by the Tigers. The Old English version they started using way back in like 1910 Original Cougars Logo Alternate Cougars Logo That being said I prefer the Gothic one with the Winged Wheel on the back. No confusion for colorblind folks as to who you're representing.

This is actually a tactic they have used a good bit. If you go back and watch some of their previous powerplays, there is a lot of stick on stick slashing away from the puck. Its hard to see, because NBC follows the puck so look for CBC footage.

Made me sick watching around the horn today all of them talking about how the NHL needed to BOOST the marketing on Crosby. I was like how much more can you do? I guess they could make us all put his face as the logo on the front of the jerseys. I've even heard a couple of sportscasters talk about how the NHL would have been better of if Crosby won the Cup. Too Friggin bad. Last time I checked, the best team wins the Cup and thats exactly what happened.

I was talking to my roomate who is a Stars fan during the Nashville series. It was just after Lids goal from the blue line. I was telling him it's fate the Wings will win the Cup. Every single time Lid has scored a goal from the blue line that hops like that he has won. He has done that 3 times ( Sweden won, 2002 Cup, 2008 Cup). Every time he has had a hopper from the blue line score. I just thought it was interesting and wanted to share.

Well you also have to be careful too. They could push that either way they want it and use tracks on top of the actually audio. They could have tracks of the fans either cheering or booing to cover up what is really going on.

Wow what else can you say about the guy. True Wing. represents the highest of highs and the lowest of lows in everyone. Busts his ass to get back and play for the Wings. humble trhough it all. I will be getting a gatorade just for you tomorrow my man.
