No no no. The technology it takes to make the puck a "glowpuck" involves removing some of the rubber of the puck. It's still the same weight but the makeup of it is different. This could be why the puck is bouncing different. I mean Stuart said the ice was crap but this could be another reason the puck was bouncing weird. I haven't seen them using the glowpuck tech all series until tonight.

well they did say they wanted to put both of this year's captains on the list as to where they rank. I think if they wanted to do that, Crosby should have been 10 and Lids 9. I say that because no matter how you stack it Lids is a better Captain than Crosbitch.

I have several "penalties" 1. Crosby for using estrogen. It's obvious he is on it, because it's inhibiting his beard growth. 2. Crosby deserves a penalty for leading all offensive categories including most offensive playoff beard 3. Therrien for delay of game/press conferences by spending too much time whining about obstruction 4. MAF for failure to prevent 7 goals in 2 games going into his net 5. Therrien for allowing us to have to see Crosby's Trash stache for 5 games instead of 4.

Because losing a .4 on your paycheck is soooo terrible and such as sacrifice for the rest of the team. Like I said you can feel I am speaking uneducated, but I have not seen him make a decision on or off ice that shows his leadership of his team.

Sorry Sid just doesn't deserve to be there. I think the greatest problem today, is when you wear the C people have a problem distinguishing between a great player and a great captain. Crosby is a good player don't get me wrong. Breathing life back into his franchise is kind of stretching it. Yes he did help, but so did the prospect and finalization of plans for a new arena. He was the beginning, and the Pens management used him as an opportunity to build support. It's called marketing. That being said does that make him a good Captain no. I have yet to see him make a decision that puts himself second and the team first. To me that is why Sakic and Yzerman deserve to be near the top in mentions. They would do anything they could to make their team better even if it meant it would cost them something. When Sid gets Stevie Y's age and skates 3/4 of a season and the playoffs and wins the cup on a knee that is so badly busted he can barely stand come talk to me about leadership. Again no disrespect to Crosby he's a good player, but there are more than 6 other guys I would take before him as my captain.

see when i was in DC myself and a gentlemen on the metro go into a discussion about this as I had my wings hat on. He was asking how I could be from Mississippi and be a Wings fan. He said I was an obvious victim of the "Ted Turner Syndrome". He said they reason everyone hates the Wings is they get more tv games than any other teams. He said the same thing happened to the Atlanta Braves in the 90's. They were an okay team that always made the playoffs, but had the most fans of any team not named the Yankees. Said it was because every game they had was on at least 1 channel if not 2. With that my stop came. I calmly walked away told him Crosby is still a diving little ***** and has a trash stache and have fun losing your only shot at a Stanley Cup.
