If anyone sees his at game 7, I know that we all have massive respect for Gordie but show him some extra love. Tell him how much you appreciate him being there and all he's done for the city, the team, and hockey.

Both the NHL, MLB, and NFL have agreements with an organization called Worldvision. If there are shirts printed that aren't used i.e there are penguins and Wings stuff and only one will be used, then the other is given to worldvision to give to children in africa for clothing.

And that's the difference in Detroit and Pittsburgh. Pittsburgh can't understand why someone would leave their hockey team for another team. Detroit fans understand salary cap and the other various factors that cause players to pack their bags. The difference is that Detroit fans will usually cheer a former Detroit player to be successful if they played here long enough. (see Federov). Pitt fans feel that anyone who dares leave their team is a traitor and should be treated as such. That's why they don't deserve to lift the Cup because their fans don't have the understanding of the most basic ideas of hockey to be able to appreciate the Cup.

That says it all right there. Don't get me wrong the Pens are no pushovers, but there is no reason this should be going to 7 games. It wasn't the Pens skills or will that pushed this to 7 games. It was the fact for games 4 and 6, Detroit tried to win on talent alone and went into relax mode. I think the Pens are a good hockey team, but the Wings deserve some credit for making this series go to 7 games as we all saw last night.

Because the announcers were making the comment that Datsyuk snuck in and took it away from Malkin and he returned the favor. So I guess that would be round 3 to Malkin while round 1 and 2 go to Datsyuk.

The Pens won last night a simple way. I don't know how anyone is surprised we've seen it in Detroit the past 10-12 years. They took the body when they had to, they played puck possession, they played their matchups, they gave up the body to block shots, and their defense helped out their goalie. Any of that sound familiar? Of course it does because it's the Wings playbook for the past decade.

Gordie is one hell of a fan. I think it's Wings fans responsibility everywhere right now to let him now how much he means to us and let him know he's appreciated. If any of you guys see Gordie friday night be sure and tell him how much you appreciate what he's done for hockey, the city of Detroit, and the Red Wings

My prediction is neither Hossa nor Crosby will be a factor in game 7. They haven't been the entire series and that won't change with one game.

Ozzie does sometimes come off as a little arrogant, but we don't know if that's taken out of context or what. He was probably pretty pissed too. I mean the man kept the Wings in it for the first 2 periods. That second goal was crap but there's only so much you can do when your team leaves garbage around the net.

She's an average at best sports reporter that's female and easy on the eyes. They don't keep her for her astounding reporting. I like looking at her though

I have a couple of positives to add. Winning this cup is no longer about Hossa. Osgood should be the first one to get the cup after Lids because he has busted it every game of every series. No other player can say they have contributed what he has this year. Positives: 4th line worked: I felt like they really wanted it tonight sadly lines 1-3 didn't Helm is a man beast. He's not just trying to play for a spot next year, he's trying to play for a top 2 lines spot Zetterberg's a standup guy. That broken stick play was amazing. To think about all that had to go through his mind in that little window of time to make that happen. The penalty kill was on

sure I'll bite. Crosby will NOT come up big because Babs will realize his mistake and put Z on Crosby lockdown duty again. Datsyuk and Holmstrom are going to come up big in game 7. Hossa will be a ghost again but manage 2 assists.
