I'm looking forward to this one. I didn't get to watch the game Monday and I've got Friday off so I'll be enjoying a few ginger ales during this one!

I think Howard still has the ability to be a good goalie, it's just not going to happen here. Mrazek is our guy and Jimmy isn't going to see the playing time he needs to get back to his self any time soon. With a change of scenery and more playing time on another team I think he'd be pretty good again. He's always been inconsistent. With that said I still think it will be hard to trade him without eating some of his contract. No team is going to take that on with how he's played this year.

A win today would make January the best month record wise for the Wings this season at 7-3-1. A 68.18 pt %. Currently it's November where they went 7-3-3 for a 65.38 pt %.

Unfortunately it doesn't look like SportsK has a red small Abdelkader jersey that I'm looking for as a gift for my girlfriend. I ordered this for her and it came yesterday and it's horrible. I have a Franzen jersey with the correct font that I got 5 years ago as a gift and I swear it was a premier jersey and not authentic. Do you guys think the jersey below would be legit? Other than they seem to do that a couple times a year, I haven't seen any specific reasons. Or maybe with so many home games lately they need to give the home gear a wash...

I can't really complain about an 8 game point steak but it would be nice to win in regulation tonight.

What's our record against Florida the past few years? It's gotta be close to .500 or worse. I'll be pretty salty if we lose today after seeming to hit our stride the past couple games.
