Joe Thornton is a absolute dirtbag.

Wow, who needs talented players when all you need are actors and ignorant refs! Those were some weak penalty calls. I will also agree that the wings did not bring their A game in the second/third/OT periods. It probably doesn't help that our own defenseman redirected the winning shot!
-
I hate to see you go Stevie but I wish you all the best! Thanks for everything you have done for this team over the years. Hope to see you back here someday soon!

OCTOPUS is in the house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I agree, I don't want to see Bertuzzi back here ever! -
http://sports.yahoo.com/nhl/blog/puck_dadd...F?urn=nhl,89102 You have got to be kidding me! Someone actually filed a lawsuit to ban tossing octopi onto the ice! People really need to find a hobby if they are that bored. What do you all think?

I am all for Cheli being an assistant coach IF McLellan leaves. If Chelios is willing to be a 7th, let him, at the right price
-
Hold on, I bought a puck when I went to game 5 against Dallas. It was signed by Franzen WITH his ORIGINAL number (39!) He switched when he found out Dom was un-retiring. I think Franzen might possibly want his number back now.

I caught the crease joke too last night, LMAO

Wow, so I am not the only one who was yelling at the TV regarding the slash that knocked Lilja's stick out of his hands and into the upper bowl! Now, I will eat my crow. I did waver a little and was very upset with the team for blowing game 5. To be that close! Crow is not that bad, tastes like chicken!

I say Kronwall. Let's face it, the more time the opposing teams spend in our end, the greater the chance for being scored on. Kronwall's physical presence and his hockey smarts were a big asset to this years run. Yes, he did have some mistakes along the way, but who didn't?

It is really too bad more people do not follow hockey like they do baseball, football and basketball. Our youth could learn a lot from classy sports figures like Yzerman. We need more people like him in the world today!
-
Thanks for all of your hardwork and dedication Matt
-
I too would like to congratulate the classy Pens fans. Your team is just beginning! You should have some very good years of hockey for the next several years. You will have a cup someday soon too! Thanks for being good sports
-
Wonderful, I am glad Cheli's back!
-
Thank you to you and the rest of the true Pens fans. You guys have a heck of a team and I am sure you will continue next year. Your team made this a very exciting SCP! Good luck and we'll hopefully see you next year.

The loss is not one persons fault as the team in general played at a lower level. IMO, when we aren't aggressively standing the opposition's fwds up at the blue line and making them pay for coming into our zone, we typically don't play as well. Kronner and Drake were not being as physical as they had been and the Pens fwds got a little confident and set up shop in our end. I want to see more aggressiveness like in games 1 & 2. I do believe that Babs is a far better coach and will correct this situation for game 4.

I am not trying to hate on Detroit but seriously, why is it that Detroit plays lousy when they have the opponents with their back against the wall?
-
I understand, but at what point do you say enough is enough and stand up?
