maybe they havent been producing as well, but i dont think its for a lack of trying. bert just needs to find his groove, he has come close to putting many in or just missing. its crazy to see datsyuk and "not doing well" in the same sentence. he tries so hard, and i tell my dad all time, he just needs to be a little selfish sometimes and just shoot it.

i think this is so key to his success. he picks his hits very well and when they connect end up being effective. its better than him just hitting everything that moves, possibly creating chances for him to be caught of position. besides, thats what we have helm for (hitting everything that moves and creating costly turnovers) i also like that kronwall has been jumping into the play at smart times, inching towards the crease and putting up big shots without compromising his postition, unlike lebda.

i think jimmy has been pretty solid his past starts. he kept us in the vancouver game and basically won it for us, got a night off vs columbus but he still played good. his game vs anaheim he was left out to dry when ericsson gave the puck to perry, made a rookie mistake on bobby ryans goal, and on the 5on3, i consider it pretty lucky to escape without a goal against.

awesome game, was really a battle out there. i had to watch a little of the ducks stream, and its hilarious how they toot their own horns. i commend getzlaf and perry for having all those points, but practically all their teams points are tied up in three guys, ryan getzlaf and perry, their first line. they had to double shift just to stay in the game and that will definitely wear on them, just like it did last year. grats on the hat trick hank!! gonna try to get my curly fries all the way out here in arizona

whenever i head to adthe, i click the game link and it pops up fine, but then the stream only shows multicolored tiles, as if the cable was out. anyone else get this?

i was at the game, but both goals were scored in the far end from us. the first one was so obviously a high stick from where we were, what did it look like on slow mo review? i was wondering if someone had constructed that photo of the angle of stick, similar to the ducks one. the second appeared to be a goal mouth scramble, but it looked like ozzie had the puck and it was simply hammered loose with no whistle. would appreciate some insight on these, not looking to start a problem thread either. i just cant bring myself to watch the highlights.

ah ok , thanks for the replies. i couldnt see where the stick made contact, only that he swung the stick down. the whole presentation at jobing.com is terrible, hence why we knew nothing about the goals.

maltby was one of the better players last night, i was at the game and he worked hard almost every shift. what happened on the last goal? it was the end opposite me so i couldnt tell. it looked like a weak shot that deflected in off ozzie, but im not for sure. another 50 minute effort.
