i hate how this thread comes about only after he starts performing. kopecky absolutely deserved the guff he was getting. he wasnt throwing around his weight, wasnt scoring or helping score, and in general was a off-beat player. i will give him props for his recent burst, and hopefully he is coming around, but his grief was not unfounded

while its not a hockey city, i will be upset because its my only chance to get to see two wings games a year.

i think the idea of bringing the WCOF back between olympic years is great, and i think it gives international teams more incentive to be better. 4 years between is a long time to focus on a prize. but every 2 years seems like it could rouse more passion to be a competitive team.

as much as you can blame the defense tonight, you have to blame ozzie too. i have no problem with saying the defense sucked, but there will still be people who claim this wasnt ozzies fault. for defensive gaffes, this game is 3-1. for ozzie games, this game is 4-1. ugly game.
