i think it could have possibly received a thread regardless of who it was, he took a 20 minute penalty (not often seen), and gave one the weakest fights ive ever seen. just my opinion though. i do see what your saying about the irony of hating him and still giving him the most spotlight though.

i think the spot he layed the hit on was illegal, but no way was it cheap, you see hits in the corners every game. heres a good video of it.

this was an awesome game. it felt like much more than just any game to me. this was to show who was the balls in the central, and we certainly showed them. 4-0 against them is sick. what did we win last year against them, 3? 10 goals on them in two days is more than enough for me. conklin is really turning out to be a good signing. he seems to love playing here, and im very impressed with him, given his consecutive starts. pasha is such a phenominal player, we are very blessed to have such a thorough hockey player on our team. nbc is truly the worst channel to watch hockey on. i cant believe how terrible the camera work was. it was like they randomly gave a video camera to a fan walking in and said "hey wanna film a hockey game?" they showed absolutely no replays, never provided a box on the bottom of the screen showing what the penalties called were for, and missed many face offs (with the commentators chatting away none the less.) i guess the first two were excusable, but missing the face-offs while showing some stupid shot of the crowd or ice was unforgiving. i read through the entire GDT and there was real apathy going on at first! i loved that we went down 3-1, i thought the blackhawks expended all their energy in the first period, and sure enough we came out flying in the second. also, babcocks hat was strange and badass at the same time. he really looked professional out there, and the suggestion of the handshake was really respectful (plus it probably felt good for the guys) this really was a battle. good job wings!

recently been hooked on pyramid apricot ale. i (ashmidly) thought we'd get killed by the sharks last game, so i said id drink two for every goal got a 12 of moose drool the other day, that was pretty tasty. also, been addicted to nimbus brewerie, a local place. they make an excellant beer out of cactus fruit! also, the darkest and maltiest beer ive ever seen.

took off the option for replies because i dont want to see responses of "all 5", we already know the obvious, and i just wanted a simple poll without all BS that every topic conjures up here. i didnt mix physicality with defense because red wings hockey does not usually combine the two. i hope after that game last night and the results they saw by not being afraid to hammer a few people, as well as not retaliate and take the penalty ( ive always been a big fan of walking away, unless its a dire situation. if it means putting us on the PP im all for it ) shows them a winning formula. keep it up fellas , with an effort like that we'll on top in to time.
