is the trap where they put 4 in the middle in their defensive zone? i told my dad, theyre gonna do that all night to us, put four in front and wait for a s***ty cross ice pass attempt, then proceed to lightly dump it out of the zone. s*** pisses me off!! they did it all game last time too.

in addition to the 3rd line looking good, all around id say the all the lines are playing well as of late. the defense is finally tightening up, we played a great game last night, and im seeing improvement every game.

for some reason i thought this was our first against the blues. last time fared only a one goal game, so lets step it up and make it aty least 2.. go wings!!!

hot damn! i nearly dropped my sandwich after seeing this score on the nhlnet ticker last night!! given the circumstances (4th game in 5 nights) i was not expecting this, way to blow them out! props to leino and even huger props to larsson. anyone have a rough timetable of when we might see him play for the big time? maybe 2 more seasons?? good game griffs!!

ive long accepted we probably wont see the same games we saw last year. i enjoyed this game, and props to the clear-flip-hudler, i watched the highlights and they had quality chances all night, just didnt bounce their way, glad they buried the equalizer and the gwg. good job tonight!

best game of the year, hands down. they really took it to the sharks tonight, and though people are gonna say conklin didnt have much work, you gotta give credit where credit is due, its not like he shutout the panthers or atlanta, this was the league leading fish. 24 shots is enough to discredit that, and thats coming off a hot sharks offense. kudos to pasha, the baddest russian around, 4 point and +4 game. i knew he was due for a big game tonight watching him play, heart of a f***ing lion. stuarts hit was beastly as well. good game boys, you deserved that big SO (you know that shutout has gotta fuel ozzie) 11 players with points tonight!! big games for hossa and lebda too, +2 and +3 respectively. hopefully these lines will continue to roll, they looked great tonight. the 4th line was great too, good grind fellas. kronvall with +4 too, great game guys. can anyone post a screen shot of the nhl.com boxscore for the sharks, and all those -'s??

props to the wings for not letting the sharks early shot domination get them down. ive seen some good defensive plays and some tremendous offense. nabokov looked soft on those wristers! especially franzens, to me that was just as bad as colorados first goal the other night. it was like slow motion. good period guys, lets keep up the good work, pot a a few more and play solid d for the rest of it.

story of the night, had a lot of great chances, just couldnt find the back of the net tonight. i am SO sick of the dump and chase play, it fails as consistently and frequently as we use it. colorado did the same thing to us, and both of them won- using soft dumps that get it out of the zone but dont ice, forcing us to skate back and tire ourselves out. im interested to hear babcocks lame ass excuse tonight - "ehh we played tough ya know, got the puck in but their zsone but uh, ya know colorado got their first and uh we didnt have the chances" FAIL. i have a real question, hopefully someone can help. what strategy should we use? colorado blocked our shots all night, how do you counter that? hossas goal was cool

besides the two goals, we came out pretty hard and created some good chances that just didnt bounce our way. but the two goals totally over shadowed that. two f***king weak goals, that first one went in slow motion i was so shocked and pissed and that second.....my grandma with one leg couldve got that. U G L Y ozzie...i can defend you no more.

i forgot to mention, phoenix fans are some of the worst ive encountered. they booed the loudest ive ever heard at the call on carcillo when he rode filpulla to the boards and hit him again, as if it was perfectly legal. they also cheered every time the coyotes got the puck like they are on a break away. also alot of them kept saying, put on more lotion chelios !! i turned to one and said, dude, hes in better shape than you are, and 20 years older. besides, this dude had braces !!

seeing them play in person last night was ecstasy, they have such great chemistry, you can feel their energy in the air.

i dunno what games some of you watched, this was a great game. i was there and maybe i saw a totally game. ozzie was the bomb, especially in the SO, made some huge saves, and on the doan goal, sometimes you just get beat. we had some good chances that we did follow through, but we also caught the post alot tonight. the coyotes are a terrible puck possession team, the shot that guy missed on the EN has gotta have him kicking himself. it was really short by just a hair, but he had full control and shouldve buried it. franzens goal totally deflated the whole arena, actually both of them, many of the coyotes fans looked like they got a fart to the face, it was great!! there was alot of good hustle, and i thought chelios was great, for his TOI. my only complaint was the coyotes tying goal for 3-3. terrible defense, but no ones perfect.. got damn franzens goals were sick. for the shoot out, zetterberg and hudler absolutely undressed and downright fooled bryzgalov. that guy really is a tool, you should see the videos they put up of him during the game. 4-0 in the SO!! lets keep it going. awesome game, so glad i was a part of it. it sucked, when the coyotes got their second goal my dad and brothers were getting stuff at the snack bar and i was surrounded by yotes fans all by myself ! edit: ZDH was awesome
