"The kid who will bring hockey to a new generation of fans." "The next great one." He never asked for any of it, but I think he's handling it quite well. You should know though, being the same age and all.

When was the last time you had the weight of a city, organization, and possibly the entire NHL on your shoulders? Not to mention, a fine toothed comb going over every single word that comes out of your mouth looking for anything to turn on you. Your superiority complex is ridiculous. Just stop.

Kunitz has played marvelous since coming here. Hell, even Bill Guerin has played pretty well, but I think Kunitz will be the only one coming back. Our top line has looked pretty well this playoff run, but our second line is absolutely a nightmare. Malkin mine as well be the only one out there. Sykora is M.I.A, Fedotenko is good for one goal a series, and now they're trying Satan there (fresh off a Wilkes-Barre/Scranton call up). I hope this gets addressed this off season. I'm hoping Tangradi cracks the line-up for next season. He would be a great addition to Malkin's line. Malkin had 47 goals playing with Malone, and supposedly Tangradi is supposed to be folds above Malone in terms of the definition of a power forward. This isn't the year, but next year might be a different story. Shero waiting so long for Hossa to sign screwed us over so bad this year. We essentially had to take who was left on the table that nobody else wanted in terms of Satan and Fedotenko. I look for this off season to be huge for us in terms of some qualified wingers. Next year just might be our year.

The kid has played with scrubs his entire career thus far, except for a couple weeks that he had with Hossa. Could you even fathom Crosby playing with a Datsyuk or a Zetterberg, instead of a Talbot, Armstrong, Dupuis, Christensen, Kennedy, (*insert 3rd or 4th liner name here) ? How do you turn a 4th liner into a top line sniper? Fairy dust cannot even do that. By mesh they mean, keep up with him.

Crosby's maturity level will come with age and experience, he is only 22 after-all. I think he would fit into the Wings organization pretty well. When Crosby's career is over, I hope his name and Datsyuk's are mentioned in the same sentence (as in similarities).

Detroit's a good team. I'm happy the Pens are where they are. I don't get too worried about it since I know they'll be back here next year. Don't act like you play for the Wings.

Looks like he got dizzy once he seen the ref. Coincidence? I'm not saying it shouldn't have been a penalty, I'm just making sure you know you might have a diver on your team, just like us.

How does Malkin have more professional hockey experience than Crosby? Crosby is in his third year, Malkin is in his second.

Yeah, he's whining... Having to take over a team in his second year after Crosby (our best player), Fleury (our starting goaltender), Eaton (our best defenseman), Talbot, and Roberts went down to injury's, is quite a task for any player. Not to mention, there was no Hossa at the time either. This guy single handedly took Pittsburgh to the playoffs with mediocre players. He's simply burned out. But, I know he's going to give all he has left this series.

They were out coached above and beyond anything else.

We were at home, it's different. You can battle back when you can feed off the crowd. And going down 3-0 in game one of the Rangers series, is pretty ugly.

I personally think they had too much time off. Malkin is a high energy player that carries his dominate play of one game into another. He was just not ready (mentally) to face the Wings tonight, plain and simple.
