    Draper out, Hudler in?

I was not happy when I realized that Draper was out for Hudler, but to be honest Hudler wasn't all that bad. He didn't hurt the team and made a couple nice plays. Unless Draper is injured, I don't see the logic behind scratching him for Hudler. The Helm line works great with him on it, he's a good face off guy which we need now that Datsyuk can't take faceoffs. Draper is much better defensively. Not sure about that switch, but hey we won, so that's all that really matters at this point.

    Wings in Seven

I could be wrong, but last night felt like Niemi's last stand. He was going all out and gave the Sharks every opportunity to win that game and they didn't.

WCSF Game 6 GDT: Sharks 1 at Red Wings 3

Join the club. I can't believe I'm THIS nervous this early in the day. This is only Game 6 too. If they win, we have to go through this all over again on Thursday... but that's a good thing!

JR should shut the hell up

I was saying that for awhile myself, but then that's kind of like putting all your eggs in one basket. I like it when that happens by accident like during a line change, but they need to spread out the talent. I think those three can do a lot more for the team as our top three centers, than being out there all at once.

It doesn't have anything to do with Kronwall. Clowe JUST HAPPENS to have a Kronwall size dent in his body. What? It has nothing to do with him!

    Mike Modano Time

40 years old or not, he can still skate fast, has a hard shot and is A LOT less beat up than anyone else in this series.

Wow... Ryan Clowe will not play in Game 6

Wow, huge and surprisingly loss for the Sharks. He's been a PITA the whole series. I don't think the loss of Franzen makes this a wash either. Franzen has clearly been hobbled this entire series. Not to mention we're replacing him with Mike Modano. Who will the Sharks dress in his place?

One game at a time here. Let's get this one at home first, then we can talk about a possible Game 7 blowout.

This Pens fan thinks the Sharks lost the series

When the Sharks scored that third goal, I was so tempted to just turn off the TV, but I was like "No, this could be Nick's last game and there's still some time left on the clock. Let's see where this goes." Then Ericsson scores and I'm a little more interested. That Cleary goal, I always look at the ref in situation like that and I kept hoping he was going to point at the puck in the net and he did and I just blown away. When we got the eventual GWG I was like "Is this a dream?! Did I fall asleep?? How is this happening??" Definitely one of most improbable comebacks I have ever witnessed. After the third goal, it looked, felt, smelled, tasted, whatever like a loss and they score those 3 quick goals and BAM we're playing a Game 6. Unbelievable. This game and Game 4 were absolutely tremendous... and stressful. If the Wings could just complete the comeback with two blow outs that would be great. Thanks

    Game 6

I wonder at what point does the fatigue factor start affecting the Sharks. The Wings had a quick 4 game sweep and rested for 10 days. Meanwhile, the Sharks played in 6 games in the last round and half of them went into OT. Now they're doing all this flying back and forth from SJ to Detroit. Does the fatigue set in for Game 6? Not to mention, their defensemen block a TON of shots, that has got to wear down your body quicker.

I lost the little bit of respect I had left for Thornton when he pulled that crap. Did you see him talking crap after the game? Shut up, go back to the locker room and figure out how to get your team back on track, "captain".

    Is Brad Richards an option?

No Brad Richards. Use the extra cap space (assuming the rumor is true) to build up the blue line. Lidstrom and Rafalski aren't going to be here forever.

Interesting trade idea - Alexander Semin

    A) We don't need to be wasting big money on another forward. B) He sucks in the playoffs, who needs that? C) Hossa may have had trouble scoring, but he made up for it with his defensive play. I don't think Semin can spell defense, let alone play it.

    Game 6 Line-Up

My first thought was "With Franzen hurt, Modano HAS to play the next game." Then I remembered Hudler was a healthy scratch for Miller yesterday, so maybe Mo stays on the sidelines. Modano is better defensively than Hudler and clearly Babcock didn't feel like he was getting enough defense out of Hudler, so it SHOULD be Modano coming into the lineup, but who knows.

SJ also had two power plays. Its easy to lead in shots when you have an extra man more than the other guy.

    Boston vs. Philly

3-1 Boston... and that's a series. I wonder if that kid that was crying in the stands after Game 7 last year is in attendance tonight.

Only if he got an instigator penalty would it be an automatic suspension... unless you're named Malkin. He did not receive an instigator.

WCSF Game 4 GDT: Sharks 3 at Red Wings 4

Great game tonight! I literally lost my friggin mind when Helm scored. You would've thought we won the Stanley Cup. lol I guess it was just a bunch of pent up emotion that needed to get out after watching those first three craptacular games. Anyone else punch their couch and scream "Hell yeah!!" at the top of their lungs after the Helm goal? lol
